Dr. Chang is THE doctor to see for orthopedic issues, especially if you value a natural approach that supports your body's ability to heal over conventional interventions. I had chronic sharp pain in my shoulder that prevented me from lifting heavy objects and even working out – for fear that it would get worse and/or require surgery – which I was especially afraid of because my husband ended up having surgery in *both* shoulders for a torn ligament. I was desperate for a natural solution and wanted to avoid surgery at all costs, and I am SO glad I found Dr. Chang! After testing my range of motion over a couple of treatments that incorporated acupuncture, he diagnosed the issue as a tightening/misalignment of the related muscles and ligaments due to strain and poor posture. Then he used a very specialized form of acupuncture that targeted the specific areas in my shoulder that needed to release, and after several honestly fairly painful (the productive kind of pain, similar to the pain of deep tissue massage for sore muscles) shoulder acupuncture treatments, the pain was gone. It has been over a year and I'm back to doing push-ups and have been pain-free ever since! My daughter is currently experiencing hip pain and I brought her to see Dr. Chang without hesitation. It is so, so reassuring to know where to turn for an effective natural therapy when you are experiencing chronic pain and want to avoid surgery. I am so grateful to Dr. Chang and would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Chang has been helping my teen daughter (a competivite soccer player considering playing in college) manage and prevent injuries for over a year. She has recovered faster from injuries with his treatments and his guidance and accupuncture have helped her tremendously since we started seeing him. He invests in his clients, gets to know them and their priorities, and treats them with respect and honesty. He also has a great sense of humor. I strongly recommend him to any serious athletes out there who want to get back into and stay in top form.

Dr. Chang is amazing. I was lucky enough to get a direct referral to see him from another Doctor. He is like a laser beam in his precision, commitment and hyper focus to address the issue. He has a huge and wide ranging skill set to resolve even the most complex cases. I actually look forward to coming in for visits that might have otherwise felt scary. I have been overwhelmed by both the compassion and incredible results I’ve received so far in his care. Cannot recommend this dude more. Thanks Dr. Chang!
