About a year ago I was suffering l from severe fatigue, terrible heartburn, uncontrollable weight gain, and other digestive issues. Today I only have occasional heart burn and have been able to get off my medication for it. Additionally I have much more energy and haven't net gained any weight since December. Not only this but I have learned so much about my health and body that has made an impact on my overall wellbeing. My journey is far from over but I believe Dr. Rooks and her team made a significant impact on my current and future health. After years of seeing many specialists, I was tired of the "just take this med" mentality and the focus on singular parts of the body, of our healthcare system as if the body doesn't all work together. Now I'm able to take an integrated approach to my health and well-being.
