I had read online about a woman who had skin removal surgery and she used the hyperbaric chamber to help her heal. After 3 visits, she noticed her peripheral neuropathy was gone. I have had peripheral neuropathy since 2014 and have found no way of improving it. I have numbness from my toes to my knees on both legs. Although peripheral neuropathy is not covered under insurance, I decided to try it and pay out-of-pocket $1800 for five 1 hour visits. I noticed after the fifth visit about a week later, my neuropathy had improved to where I only felt it from my ankles to my toes. I would love to go again, but I want to see if it sticks since I have to pay out-of-pocket. I'm 66 years old and on Medicare. Amy is great taking care of me when I'm in the Chamber. The whole team are very caring and nice. If anyone knows how to get this covered with insurance, just let me know.
