They take days and sometimes weeks to call in your refill to the pharmacy. I speak with them monthly when it’s time for a refill. Every month it’s the same thing. “We sent your request to your doctor and he will call it in today.” They tell me that day after day. Not sure why it takes so long to do that. I’m paying a lot of money out of pocket for this because insurance won’t cover anymore. It’s time to look for another provider because this has gotten to be absurd.

This place is a scam!!, when doing the online intake questionnaire the make you choose the worst answers instead of your honest situation. They are just insurance scams. Then afterwards they set you up with an appointment pretty quick but have an outrageous cancelation policy that is impossible to meet the requirements forcing you to pay.

I saw Dr.Hernandez here and it was the least helpful experience. He never listened to my concerns or my cries for help. Our first visit I had asked to be assessed for other conditions and he completely just disregarded that request. In fact, he’s refused to assess me at all. Never really asked much about me or what I’m struggling with, just said it was depression and then he wanted to start TMS. He was pretty much absent the 5 treatments I did have. I was under the impression he would be working with me during these treatments but he never did and never even checked in to see how I was doing. Then he wanted to claim he couldn’t make a fair diagnoses after one visit, but he was so okay with just saying I have depression and jumping right into TMS treatment. TMS made me worse by the day and when I told him that he kept telling me that wasn’t true. Then his advice was either to medicate me again, which I have told him more times than I could count on how I am unable to take daily medications correctly, or just to go to the hospital. AND THEN after all of this he even admitted himself that he thought ketamine would be the best treatment for me yet he immediately pushed for TMS. He just doesn’t make any sense and he’s constantly changing the narrative. He does not truly assess his patients he just immediately pushes them into TMS without checking in on them or anything.
Also with punctuality, this office is the WORST. I think the quickest I got in to do my treatment was like 20-30 minutes AFTER my appointment time. Their communication is also terrible as well, they don’t have a direct line for their office and you aren’t even able to chat with your provider through your portal, it’s all done through a national database.
Don’t come here and visit Dr.Hernandez and believe that you’ll get answers or results. He will not listen to you and just put a label on you in order to get you to do TMS. They also have false advertising because they ONLY offer TMS at this office and nothing else. I’ve never heard of a psychiatrist being so empty on options, but according to him the only options are medication and therapy, or ER. When I literally came to him because none of that was working for me. I’ve been in the ER twice this month with crises, and he still just said medication or ER. I feel completely disrespected and unheard by Dr.Hernandez and he has no compassion for his patients. He is the least caring provider I’ve EVER been to and I can confidently say that Dr.Hernandez does not care what happens to his patients or if they’ll get better.

She was very patient and understanding, asked thorough questions to truly understand what I was experiencing. She didn't try shoving medication down my throat like other psychiatrists do, she encouraged me to go at my own pace & seek any other help I would need.
