I was a bit skeptical about both HRT in general and trying a new practice with zero reviews, but Kristen came highly recommended. I was blown away by her knowledge about HRT. She was able to answer all my questions and we came up with a plan to figure out my dosing over the next few weeks. I left my appointment with a clear understanding of the process. The appointment was a very different experience than my regular ob/gyn. It didn't feel rushed. I am so grateful for Kristen and Adolfo at LivHRT. Kristen was the 4th hormone specialist that I had seen. Previously, I was only offered birth control (even though I'm sterilized) and vaginal estrogen (I was already on it). The appointment was nothing like the others I saw. She has an amazing wealth of up to date knowledge, experience, confidence, and competency. She is humble about it and has the attitude of an eternal student, which only makes me trust her more. She perfectly balanced listening and "client-practitioner shared decision making" with a conservative approach of "minimal effective dose" and ruling out potential underlying causes/disease. She has and is pursuing some amazing certifications, including functional medicine, the menopause society, and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. We looked at labs as a guide but she also prioritized symptoms. She was the first provider I saw who was informed about labs being an unreliable snapshot of your hormones during perimenopause when levels are in chaos. When the appointment ended, I had a very clear plan of action that I feel good about. I highly recommend LivHRT!
