I needed outpatient physical therapy after foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. I was being very selective to find the right fit. I found the team at STAR PT to be both friendly and professional. All of the staff put me at ease. I was extremely pleased to be “assigned” to Stephen C. He studied my complicated surgery and explained how we were going to approach my rehabilitation. Stephen is a highly knowledgeable, committed professional who listens to his patients and custom designs a program of PT that can be easily replicated long after the in person sessions are over. I have nothing but praise for Star Orthopedics and Rehab. My wife, for a full knee replacement, and me, for severe lower back pain issues, simultaneously went through intensive rehabilitation over a twelve week period. I went twice a week and she went three times. In both of our cases, the results were phenomenal. Initially my wife was unable to stand or walk without some form of assistance and my lower back pain was so bad it would bring me to my knees. By conclusion of treatment, my wife was capable of walking without assistance, and the debilitating pain in my lower back was completely gone. All of the therapists are outstanding. I worked with Steve Coiro. Steve combines years of experience with professionalism and excellent fundamental knowledge of orthopedic therapy. He knows what it takes to improve your physical well being. Additionally, he’s very encouraging. Ultimately, resolving the back issues is collaborative. It was teamwork and he made a great teammate. I am really pleased with the results and amazed that the pain is gone. I highly recommend Star Orthopedics for your recovery needs.
