I will not be returning. This practice would benefit from improvements to bedside manner and sensitivity training. I was seeking a closer OBGYN office since my previous, beloved office was farther away, but P&M was a traumatizing experience. On multiple occasions, nursing staff gave me instructions on what to do without even saying hello, including during my first visit. This was especially alarming when I had a miscarriage and needed a follow up ultrasound to confirm. There was no warmth, eye contact, or “I’m sorry for your loss” from the nurse. Instead what I got was “Clothes off from the waist down. Sit here. I’ll be back”. This is completely unacceptable for the line of work - work that involves real people with emotions. I also had a terrible experience with their scheduling staff. After being advised from their on call doctor to be seen the next day, the scheduling staff member told me there was no record of my conversation with the doctor on call and so I did not need an urgent appointment. For context, two days later I lost consciousness from blood loss and wound up in the ER. In general the staff seems too busy for patients. During my first visit I was asking the doctor questions when a nurse came into the room and said another patient had questions.. I was literally asking my questions to the doctor as she was leaving the room. I have never experienced this unprofessionalism of rushing a patient out in a health care setting. I would expect this practice to care more about their patients but I unfortunately felt completely insignificant to them.

We are 120 seconds late checking in, literally 2 minutes. They recommended my teen daughter be seen during a certain time of her irregular cycle, after multiples months and different times calling, we could not get an appt scheduled during the continued issues when I would call. We finally got in for a next day evening appt, their last appt of the day. We checked in during the day as suggested. Rearranged schedules, messaged coaches, left work early, left early for appointment, due to heavy traffic, we parked on time but checked in 2 minutes. They would not see her. We literally watched the staff lock up and leave for the next 30 mins while I waited to speak with the doctor. They were unbothered and didn’t try to get her in the following week or on a wait list or anything. Super disappointing, and still no answers for stressed kid.

I was quite nervous because I moved to the USA last year, and I hadn't had my annual check-ups here yet. I was worried because the protocol here and in my home country are quite different, but I received exceptionally good care. Dr. Brenda Perez welcomed me and explained everything I needed to know very well. I highly recommend the clinic and her.
