I recently had an appointment with Carleah Johnson, Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and it was truly a positive experience. From the moment the session began, she created an atmosphere that felt safe, welcoming, and judgment-free. She was incredibly down to earth and easy to talk to, which made it comfortable for me to openly express my thoughts and concerns. Her approach was both professional and compassionate. She listened attentively, asked thoughtful questions, and ensured that I felt heard and understood throughout the entire visit. It’s not always easy to find a provider who balances expertise with genuine warmth, but she does so effortlessly. I left the appointment feeling supported, validated, and confident in the plan moving forward. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking thoughtful and compassionate mental health care.

I have been coming to Alpha Psychiatry for a couple years now and have loved my experience from medication management to the other less common treatments like Spravato and TMS. I have loved all my providers like Dr. Hall and Dr. Preston but I wanted to shout out Shyanne! She’s amazing and you can genuinely feel how much she cares for each individual patient. Her bedside manner is impeccable and when you’re coming for treatment for issues that can be really hard to deal with, she makes it easier. I look forward to seeing you each session!

My provider has been excellent! She is very professional, easy to talk to, and has always ensured that my care needs were met with efficiency. The office staff has been challenging to work with. On several occasions I’ve struggled to get appointments rescheduled because the staff either couldn’t access the calendar, or they failed to actually cancel an appointment correctly and I was billed for a missed appointment (that I cancelled way ahead of time!) Fortunately, my provider was able to assist the staff, but it’s honestly easier to just communicate directly with the provider for all scheduling needs.
