Dr Lisa has been a major role player in leading me onto the road of wellness. She has always been supportive of me using outside adjunctive services that accept my insurance. The several times I have had to contact her after hours or message her the positive response time is usually minutes. I have many complex health issues and many physicians have felt overwhelmed & unable to prepare a road map to achieve my wellness. I am grateful and blessed to be Dr Lisa’s patient & having her on my team. I encourage anyone looking for a great physician to make an appointment today!

Best medical practice in the DC area! The Kaplan Clinic's online portal makes communication and record keeping so much easier and vastly improves transparency. Although they don't take insurance, they are worth the extra time it takes to submit for a reimbursal to your insurance company. Trust me, you'll save time in the end because you won't spent long in their waiting room. And, if you have TriCare, as I do, they'll submit it for you for free. I've been going to Dr. Lisa for over 8 years now, including when I lived in Afghanistan and now that I'm living in Germany. I come back to the US to see her once a year because she is the only one I trust with my overall wellness. The first ten minutes of every appointment are spent with her asking probing health questions and actually listening to what her patients say. She knows more about cutting-edge health discoveries and how seemingly unconnected issues are connected than any other doctor I've ever met.

Dr. Lillenfeld pushes you to buy other services offered by her practice but most importantly if you have hypothyroidism and/or primary ovarian failure then this is not the doctor to see. It's like a guessing game when she medicates you. She doesn't know how to properly convert people on thyroid meds and ends her session by telling you to see a nutritionist or a therapist from her practice. It's a waste of money.
