Really enjoyed my appointment with Lisa. Honestly, everyone at that practice is fantastic. I’ve had chronic pain for almost 20 years and have seen many providers that dismiss me and don’t help, losing trust in physicians and just feeling hopeless —- while still in pain! Dr. Bowers and his entire team are phenomenal. I finally felt heard. Someone listened and understood that not everyone’s pain is the same, so treatments are going to be different for each patient. They have so many options for treatment and make a plan specific to you and your needs. I am forever thankful that I found this group. Finally someone who actually listens and cares!

First of all, let me say that Lisa is an excellent addition to Robert’s (Dr. Bowers) already excellent team of Clinicians and Staff. To clarify, Lisa brings excellent communication skills and a wide array of knowledge to her position as a Nurse Practitioner. Unfortunately, I’ve dealt with over 100 doctors and such in my lifetime, as a person who suffers from severe chronic pain and other serious health conditions. So, I’ve seen excellence, such as like Lisa possesses, all the way to ineptitude and worse, such as those that don’t even care about patients. Fortunately for you, (and me) she is top-notch. Another example of Lisa’s outstanding care is in the way she conceptualizes her patients’ medications. As a new staff person, she was not trying to reinvent the wheel and change up my medications that are working well for me. I’m even on a medication or two that have fallen out of favor at the state’s Medical Commission and nationally. She was willing to dialogue with me about my vast experience with all of the different types of medication available in this specific class of medications. Thus, her active listening skills allowed her to understand that I was best served by continuing my current regimen of medications. It is very refreshing to see patient care put above the vicissitudes of what medications are currently most popular or in favor. This is a problem that was avoided that I’ve seen happen all too often throughout the decades of my treatment. Finally, like all of the folks at Bellevue Pain and Wellness, she is warm and friendly. She too has an excellent bedside manner. I am sure this has served her patients well in her career and will continue to be an integral part of her success in her new position here.

DR. Joseph Castro is one of the few Doctors practicing medicine that I trust, he has had several opportunities to get more money out of me instead he took the time and talked to me about the whole situation. he has always gone above and beyond. I have been treated by others as well and every one of them were great. Im in heavy construction and i have destroyed my body. These people at this office have all helped me find some kinda relief. Many of the guys that work for me and with me have made appointments and all of them were pleased. literally every one from the front desk to the doctors are amazing. I thank God for finding them. Really thankful for Dr. Castro he is the one normally working with me!
