About this clinic
The Schulte Institute, a neuromodulation clinic in Scottsdale, specializes in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation for treatment-resistant depression and related psychiatric conditions. TMS uses magnetic pulses to stimulate neural activity in targeted brain regions and is offered as an alternative to pharmacological approaches or as an adjunct to ongoing psychiatric care. The clinic takes an integrative view of mental health, addressing biological, psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions of each patient's presentation. Treatment is individualized following an initial psychiatric evaluation, and patients receive monitoring throughout the course of therapy. The practice accepts new appointments and coordinates care with other providers a
Dr. Schulte and the Schulte Institute have provided a transformative experience in my life over the last 15 years. I have only had two therapists in my adult life and Dr. Schulte has been one of them. I credited him with helping me grow into the best version of myself that could possibly exist. Everybody who works here is extremely kind and sympathetic, and everybody has taken the time to get to know me and my unique issues. Do not hesitate to trust these people. Every year, I continue to experience more emotional growth. Besides Dr. Schulte, there are a ton of other resources here and while some doctors and providers only care about money, these folks actually care about the people they are taking care of. I would give Dr. Schulte on the staff 10 stars if I could not just five.

The Schulte Institute has been amazing. They have so many options when it comes to the specific help you're looking for. Dr. Schulte is honestly the best psychiatrist I've ever seen and it's the reason why I've been working with him for over 5 years.

I'm posting this as a warning to others who may be fooled by the glowing reviews. Dr. Schulte is arrogant, dismissive and not the least bit empathetic. Not only did he not read the 20 page intake documentation regarding our daughter, he also laughed at her during the intake evaluation for TMS, suggested ridiculous mental disorders after spending only 20 minutes with her, and at the very end, suggested she seek therapy. If he had read the documentation regarding her long-term treatment, he would have known that she indeed has a long-standing therapist, psychiatrist, and additional practitioners. For someone who is supposedly top of his class in treating depression and anxiety, he is severely lacking in compassion and emotional intelligence.
