The Montare “Tune-Up” this past weekend at the incredibly beautiful Oak Canyon Ranch was probably one of the most magical weekends I have ever had. It incorporated all of my favorite aspects of Montare into one weekend. The thought that they make aftercare so special and incorporate alumni events like the one I just had completely validate my decision to go there. What a special time I had! Thank you so much, Lynne, and the Montare crew! I truly love and appreciate you! ❤️

This review is for the Montare Alumni Program. What can I say? As an alumni of Montare, I have been blown away by the amazing quality of events put together by alumni coordinator Lynne Biehl. I just returned from an amazing alumni tune-up weekend, full of meditations, sound baths, drum circles, and the like all in the middle of an absolutely gorgeous remote property near Malibu surrounded by community and nature. I honestly cannot say enough good things about the program and how it changed my life both before and after treatment. Easiest 5 star review ever made. ❤️ I am filled with gratitude for Montare. 🙏

Montare was a great outpatient program. I’ve been to other places but I’ve never experienced so much love and genuine help from people. My caseworker Sandra was amazing and stood by me through the ups and downs and helped me get my life back. My therapist Robin was great too. I now have recovery in my life thanks to Montare.

Montare is a great program but one of the things that stood out to me the most was my caseworker Sandra. She went above and beyond to help me at my lowest point, and because of her support, I am back in work, I live in a safe house, I’m able to buy groceries, and generally have gotten my life back on track. Tina, my therapist, and Marthius are staff that are have shown extreme kindness and care that helped me get through difficult times. This program has been hugely helpful towards my recovery. I’m so grateful. ❤️

It’s difficult to put into words how grateful I am for Montare. I went to residential at Valley Vista house in September 2022 and went on to attend Montare’s outpatient program, completing the program in February 2023. My very first day at Montare I knew I was at the right place. I was unsure about going to treatment initially, and honestly I was pretty scared. They sent a driver, Joey, to pick me up and he was so kind and helped me feel at ease about the whole process. Thank you to Paige, Ian, Jet, Becky, Ranelle and all the amazing staff at Valley Vista House. Thank you for singing karaoke with me, writing music with me, playing games, cooking delicious food for me and the other clients, driving us to fun outings, and being there for me every single day I was there. While at Montare, I rediscovered my love for music. I was given the safe space to find myself again and focus on my healing. Thank you to Julia, who does yoga, sound baths, and many other cool and awesome things! She is just the coolest person who helped me so much on my journey. Thank you to the amazing staff who run the groups, Dr. Perlman, Dr. Ben, Thomas, Andy, Cynthia, Ana, Rachel, and many more.. The psychodrama (improv) groups were my favorite and so much fun! Thank you to the staff at Montare outpatient, Lionel, Dr. D, Lidna, Kat, Marisela, Carol, Cookie and many many more. Thank you for all you do for the clients everyday and for making Montare a truly special place. Thank you to Lynne, the Director of alumni services at Montare, for ALL you do!!! Thank you for planning fun & awesome events for alumni, running support meetings, and being the glue that holds us all together! We 🫶 you Lynne!!! The therapists at Montare are exceptional. Thank you to my therapists while I was at Montare, Deepa, Ana, and Rachel. I was able to work through a lot of pain and trauma that had been holding me back with DBT and EMDR therapies. At Montare, I found healing and true joy again with the support of the truly amazing staff and my peers. I will forever be grateful to Montare, where I was given the help and support to heal, grow, and thrive! I now have 2.5 years sober and started my sobriety journey at Montare. Truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you Montare! 🤍
