Highly recommend TMJ sleep therapy . I do not have TMJ but i Clench in my sleep. Clenching has cost me 4 teeth, I clinched so hard it broke my teeth and had to get dental implants which were so expensive. I've tried MANY bite guards , none helped . I was in constant jaw and tooth pain. I found this website at 1am because I couldn't sleep due to my pain. I scheduled an appointment and they got in an appointment so fast. They gave me a temp bite guard which helped right away. I received my custom bite guard and I've been using it every night. I have no more pain and bite guard is extremely comfortable. Dr. Sainsbury and team helped me so much with my TMJ! I had jaw clicking for 10 years and my jaw had been having issues locking for about 5 years before I sought treatment. Before finding Dr. Sainsbury, I tried Botox, chiropractic, acupuncture, massages, mouth guards, you name it! My condition had worsened to the point my jaw disc is permanently dislocated and that wont get fixed without surgery. HOWEVER, Dr. Sainsbury was able to help me get some relief in my complicated situation without having to do surgery. I now have an appliance that helps keep my teeth separated while I sleep and it has been a game changer in giving my jaw space. I could barely open my mouth to eat a sandwich when I first came in to his office but now I have full range back even with the disc being dislocated! Pain is significantly decreased and as long as I keep stretching my neck and wearing my appliance, my life has gone back to normal! I will forever be grateful to Dr. Sainsbury and team for helping improve my quality of life. You never realize how much jaw pain can impact your daily life until it gets severe - don’t be like me and get it fixed before it becomes a major issue!

Dr. Sainsbury was very attentive with multiple issues. I went because an ENT recommended him for pulsatile tinnitus. He diagnosed a few issues that could be addressed through the enhanced oral appliance. Two of the main issues, the tinnitus and interrupted sleep, have become better over time. The appliance has also made a big difference with other health issues because I now only breathe through my nose at night.
