I am a psychotherapist and my practice is limited to treating clients who suffer from unresolved trauma. In many cases, I started to notice how acute system dysregulation would prevent meaningful progress. It was obvious to me how much of this was driven by physiological factors, and I was frustrated with my lack of options and went looking for better answers. And here is were my research led me to a procedure called a Stellate Ganglion Block injection or SGB, and the published results were significantly positive. Then more research, and that led me directly to Dr. Patel for several vital reasons. First, whereas other doctors inject a local anesthetic such as lidocaine that can cause potentially serious side effects, Dr. Patel has been pioneering an approach that uses only saline and has produced identical outcomes. If I’m going to refer my clients, safety is paramount, so his approach made a big difference! But more than that, Dr. Patel is committed to his work and his ongoing research, and you know that after talking to him for 5 minutes! Plus, his staff, Lexie, Rahad, and everyone else working there are highly professional, kind, and helpful. And that all adds up to a world-class team that supports my clients every step of their journey to finally find some relief! It’s a beautiful process to witness, and I am so grateful for our professional relationship!

Dr Patel does thorough examinations to get at the root cause of the problem. Then he does a great job articulating the issues and comes up with a plan that, that is logical and makes sense. I definitely recommend Dr Patel for all types of back and spinal injuries. He does a superb job with overall patient care and his staff is professional and provides excellent service.

She is a professional dancer and choreographer who suffers from torn and bulging discs. When she needed injections in order to function...let alone dance...her consultation was arranged in a very timely manner. He was very thorough and compassionate, and the staff was so kind. From a mom who lives on the east coast and couldn't be there while Skyler was going through such a difficult time, I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, for taking care of her. I have been a patient of Dr Patel for a little over a year, and honestly he is one of the most compassionate and skilled physicians I have ever worked with. I came to him with cervical instability and lower spine and hip region dysfunction, along with a very complex and traumatic history of many past spinal fluid leaks. After meeting him in person for the first time, I immediately felt safe in his care. He is patient, listens deeply, remembers the details of my case, never rushes, and explains everything clearly. Dr Patel was really friendly & professional! He was thorough & clearly explained ( with ultrasound & an MRI I had brought with me) what the problem areas are, highlighting the source of the symptoms & then recommending an appropriate solution plan. It’s still very early days in my recovery but he and his very friendly staff made a great impression & I feel I’ve got the transparency I was after. I’d definitely recommend you visit his office if you have a knee or spine related concerns.
