Knowing what I know now, I should have gone with the PicoSure laser from the start and I would probably already be done by now. I've been in the process of removing my teenage bright ideas from my stomach for about 2 years. I tried one of those franchise chain tattoo removal places and they said it would take between 18-25 treatments to get my tattoo completely removed. I went through 5 sessions of the traditional Q-switch laser and, although the tattoo was getting slightly lighter each time, I wasn't necessarily impressed with the results in comparison to the pain and recovery each treatment required. Then I found San Diego Center For Regenerative Medicine and Dr. Miller's amazing PicoSure laser! Yes, it's more expensive for the PicoSure as opposed to the Q-switch, but believe me when I tell you it is worth EVERY.SINGLE.EXTRA.DOLLAR! From the recovery time to the results, the PicoSure laser outperforms the Q-switch in every single way. Let's start with the results- So my brilliant idea at 17 was to get shooting stars on my abdomen and, of course, my mother was right when she said I would be sick of them soon enough. But let's be honest here, we've all made that same stupid mistake or you wouldn't be reading tattoo removal reviews! My tattoos were packed full of color- greens, blues, purples. reds, etc. and I was warned ahead of time that it would take quite a few treatments to see a big change. With the Q-switch laser I would usually see a subtle difference 6-8 days after each treatment, generally after the scabbing, itching and bleeding went away; But with the PicoSure laser I IMMEDIATELY saw a dramatic reduction in color both times I have been in for a treatment. I still remember the shock when I pulled back my bandages a few hours after that first treatment. One PicoSure treatment removed more ink in the first 2 hours than all 5 Q-switch treatments had combined! Two PicoSure treatments and I would say 80% of the color is now gone. The Recovery- So in comparison, Q-switch lasers generally leave tiny little puncture holes all over the tattooed area. It's initially pretty bloody, then eventually scabs and peels. I would say recovery takes 2 weeks total. With the PicoSure, there is absolutely more swelling (which is good when you think about it) and some blistering, but no blood. I'm also usually really fatigued for a day or two after but full recovery, for me, only took about a week each time. The blisters aren't necessarily fun, but the recovery from the PicoSure is absolutely easier, quicker, and less painful than with the Q-switch. Long story short- make the investment, go with the PicoSure from the start and save yourself the time and money!

I wish I had found this place sooner!! I came here for tattoo removal. I had previously had 17 treatments with traditional laser tattoo removal and the blue and green inks were not coming off. Not only that, by this time I had significant scarring on the skin surrounding my tattoo. I read about the PicoSure and made an appointment here for consultation. Right from the beginning the staff was very friendly and professional. Everything was explained to me and the pricing was very reasonable. Nurse Nancy and Dr. Miller are fantastic. The best part - it s absolutely amazing how much my tattoo lightened after just one treatment. After so many failed treatments prior to coming here I though my tattoo would never come off. And the healing time is so much better than my previous experience - little to no discomfort. But wait, it gets even better - as a bonus my scarring has improved so much - seriously it is almost gone. If you want your tattoos removed, don't waste your time and money going anywhere else.

I am very pleased with the results I have had with the Picosure laser treatments I have received from Dr. Jason Miller at San Diego Center for Regenerative Medicine. I was very cautious and concerned on how well the treatment would work but I read many articles about this treatment using this new technology and decided to give it a try. . My main goal was to get rid of my dark brown age spots on my face, After only two treatments my spots have almost completely disappeared. My last treatment should completely remove my brown age marks and that makes me feel GREAT. I would recommend this new laser treatment to anyone who wants to revitalize their skin, remove age spots or remove scar tissue. The treatment was painless and the results were far better that I expected. I won't need any more treatments and that is another plus for me because I won't have to pay for additional treatments and that part is great for my pocketbook. I can't wait to see the results of my third and last treatment. I will post and let you know my final results but right now I am VERY PLEASED .
