I have been working with Dr. Nicole, my naturopathic endocrinologist for several years now. She has been able to navigate my thyroid disease and optimize my hormones through bio-identical hormone therapy as I go through perimenopause. This year we focused on my metabolic health and with sustained diet changes and low dose peptide therapy I was able to fit back into the clothes that I haven't in years. I am maintaining and more than that thriving. From the front office staff to Dr. Nicol, my entire experience has been positive. I feel more like I am going to say hello to friends rather than being there for an appointment or treatment. For the first time in my life I am enjoying living in my body and it's because of the thorough testing conducted by Dr. Ziomek. For years doctors told me my labs looked normal, but I always knew something was wrong - my energy, my metabolism, my blood sugar crashing... it goes on. I always took care of myself - I used to run marathons and I studied dance in college. It turns out I've been living with (battling) PCOS. Dr. Nicole Ortiz is incredible! It is just so refreshing to be seen by a doctor that makes you feel cared for, understood and heard. I started with Dr. Nicole to understand what was going on with my body after having a baby and I'm so glad I did - I've never felt better. I'm sleeping better, eating better and feeling better. The office (more like a lounge) is friendly and inviting, the staff is amazing as well! What I can't stress enough is that Dr. Nicole really takes time with you. I love that she consistently continuing her education, and that you can walk out of your appointment learning about natural healing and care for your body. I'm currently popping in at least twice a week to get her B vitamin special - five minutes in and out! Everything about Dr. Nicole and True You Medical is so refreshing. I recommend her and her clinic to everyone!
