IV Hydration clinics in the United States
This is the national page for IV hydration on Regenerated.com, listing clinics across the United States that record the treatment. IV hydration, also called IV fluid therapy, hydration therapy, an IV drip or a hydration infusion, delivers sterile fluid straight into a vein through a small catheter, usually in the arm, while the patient sits or reclines. The base fluid is normal saline or lactated Ringer's solution, and many clinics add electrolytes, B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium, zinc or anti nausea medication, which is where hydration blurs into IV nutrient therapy and the Myers' cocktail. A physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant orders the infusion, and a registered nurse or paramedic usually places the line and monitors the session. People often compare it with oral rehydration solutions, electrolyte drinks, intramuscular vitamin shots, NAD+ IV therapy and broader IV vitamin therapy.
The evidence picture is clear at one end and thin at the other. IV fluids are standard hospital care for moderate to severe dehydration, for people who cannot keep fluids down because of vomiting or illness, and for heat illness, and the World Health Organization recommends oral rehydration as the first step for mild to moderate dehydration. Wellness uses, including hangovers, jet lag, athletic recovery, immune support, migraine, fatigue and skin, rest mostly on clinical experience and small studies rather than large controlled trials. Physician Alan Gaby summarized the clinical experience with the Myers' cocktail in a review in Alternative Medicine Review, which describes use rather than proving benefit. Saline and lactated Ringer's are FDA approved drugs, some added vitamins are prepared by compounding pharmacies, and no wellness hydration drip as a whole is FDA approved for the benefits it is marketed for. The FDA has also warned about contaminated or improperly prepared compounded products used in some IV settings.
A typical candidate is a healthy adult with mild dehydration, a short term need for fluids after illness, travel or exertion, or trouble drinking enough, who completes a medical intake that covers history, blood pressure and current medications. People with heart failure, kidney disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, swelling, pregnancy, or a history of reactions to any additive are usually told to check with their own physician first. Signs of severe dehydration, such as confusion, fainting or no urination, call for urgent care or an emergency department rather than a wellness appointment, and repeated dehydration deserves a workup of its cause.
Supply is broad and varied nationwide. IV hydration is offered in hospital outpatient infusion centers, urgent care clinics, physician led integrative and functional medicine practices, stand alone IV lounges, medical spas, and mobile services that come to a home, office or hotel. Listings tend to concentrate in large Sun Belt and coastal metros, including South Florida, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston and the New York area. State rules on who may own an IV business, who may start a line and how closely a physician must supervise vary, so two lounges in neighboring states can operate very differently.
Before booking anywhere, ask who orders your infusion and which physician supervises the clinic, and check those licenses yourself. Ask exactly what is in the bag, the dose of each additive, and whether additives come from a licensed outsourcing facility or compounding pharmacy. Ask for written disclosure of risks such as bruising, vein irritation, infection, fluid overload and allergic reaction, and what the clinic does if one occurs. A clear quote itemizes the base fluid, each add on, any lab work, mobile fees and membership terms, and follow up should include a record of what you received.
This national list is not for sale. Organic order is never paid ranking, Featured slots are labeled and capped, and Verified means the clinic completed credential checks, not that it spent money. Regenerated.com is free for patients, and inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement. Use the state hubs below the list to build a shortlist closer to you.
