About this clinic

California Shockwave, a regenerative physical-medicine clinic in Pleasanton, specializes in Shockwave Therapy for chronic musculoskeletal pain, joint conditions, and soft-tissue injuries. The practice combines shockwave treatment with chiropractic care, physical therapy, and trigger-point intervention to address pain without relying on pharmaceuticals or surgery. Shockwave therapy uses acoustic-energy pulses to stimulate tissue repair and reduce inflammation, making it suitable for tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, and other conditions resistant to conventional conservative care. Treatment plans are individualized following an initial assessment, and the clinic positions itself as an alternative entry point for patients seeking regenerative

I'd heard of Shockwave for kidney stones, but wasn't sure how it would work on my painful shoulder. Would I have to sit in a tub of water like the kidney stone treatments, or would the Shockwave therapy give me the curly hair that mother nature had denied me? I liked the idea of a non-invasive treatment (in a dry environment). The pain was up to a 7, and was interfering with my sleep. Even sleeping on my back or other side was painful. Some days I couldn't pick up a mug of coffee. I walk with a cane in my right hand, so walking became difficult. After 3 visits the pain had decreased to a 5, but I had to have a non-related surgery, so I restarted therapy several weeks later and have now completed 6 therapy sessions after the restart. I still don't have curly hair, but my shoulder pain is almost gone, and I can even sleep on my right side again!   The office staff have been pleasant and friendly, and work with me to schedule my appointments that avoid rush-hour traffic.  Thanks, Dr. Rodriguez!

I have felt a lot of improvement in my right foot pain. I have plantar fiscitas, stress fracture and a cyst in my right foot. I tried many therapies like physiotherapy, cast, massage, cortisone shots, expensive insoles but nothing helped me much. It was hard to walk inside my home even. I tried shockwave therapy with Dr.Abraham which gave me much relief. It took me 6 visits to feel the difference but I feel much better now and I have recently started going back to gym. I would highly recommend this therapy to anyone who is struggling with chronic pain. Dr. Abraham is a very talented physician who can clear your doubts by explaining in depth and giving you options to choose from. I am happy to have him as a pain relief provider and am looking forward to start Shockwave therapy for my lower back pain as well.

Dr. Abraham is an outstanding physician. He took the time to clearly explain my condition and recommended shock wave therapy as part of my treatment. Throughout the process, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. The therapy was well explained, performed carefully, and I felt confident I was in good hands the entire time. I truly appreciate his expertise and attention to patient comfort, and I would highly recommend Dr. Abraham to anyone seeking effective, non-invasive treatment options.
