Relieve Pain Center

I was a patient for 5 years. I've NEVER tested positive for anything, except what I was prescribed. All of a sudden my test came back with a narcotic I have NEVER used. I don't smoke anything or drink. I tried to ask for a comfirmitory test. They refused to do any, although I said I'd pay for a hair strand test, to prove I wasn't taking anything. My request was ignored. I used to think they were good. Now I see them for who they are. I only gave a 2 star because the ladies in the front office have been so kind.

I've never experienced a bad visit, a bad procedure, or bad customer service. Sometimes the front desk girls seem stressed but they deal with a lot. Patient's who are in pain aren't exactly the nicest at times, so I can understand. I love Samantha Estes, PA and VanNoord has always been kind, answers my questions and professional. No complaints from me. I have taken myself off my medications many times in my life when my body knew I didn't need them. They allowed me to make the decisions on how I would detox myself to lessen the side effects of withdrawal and never pushed me one way or the other. They worked with me for what worked for me. I was not a patient for almost 4 years until a nerve got compressed and the pain was severe I ended up in the ER, So I'm back and they remembered me. I recommend but know this, they follow the rules of pain management and you're not going to get away with not following them, it's plain and simple.

If I can give zero stars I would!! Dr. Van Noord is absolutely the worst doctor I have ever came across. And I work in the medical field. He treated my father like dirt. A 75 year old man that has been on the same medication for 35 years and would not refill his prescription. He would not look at his medical records to review his history and could care less my father was going through so much pain and serve anxiety. A doctor that took a oath to heal people let my father SUFFER. Literally brought tears to my eyes to encounter such a cold hearted medical professional. I advise anyone to seek out any Other Doctor than Dr. Noord. The staff as well are very rude and dismissive. I pray no one ever has to go through what my father had to go through and I will Continue to reach out to other avenues to advocate for others like my father. This doctor license should be revoked!
