I had been dealing with an ankle injury for over a year already. A misdiagnosis and wrong treatment plan. I couldn't walk over 20 mins without pain, which was really hard for a dancer and an active person. Dr. Paul really healed me with the stem cell and A2M procedures. Because it was a tendon injury, a surgery posts much more risks. The regenerative procedures were minimally risks, and I can now walk 2 miles at a time without pain. Also in the final conditioning phase to go back dancing. Stem cell really does wonders, and I can't think of a better person than Dr. Paul in SF to provide such services. After having been to so many doctors and different facilities, Dr. Paul was the one that healed me. Highly recommend it!

I first saw Dr Paul in 2021 for left knee pain and a ganglionic cyst that had formed on my knee. He confirmed meniscal tears in my knee and suggested a conservative approach and monitoring. I came back to him a few months later, the tearing had progressed and he suggested BMAC, which I then had done in Nov 2021. I was able to gently ski with my kids 2 months later, although PT/focused strength training lasted another 6 months. I recently saw him for another injury after a ski fall. He quickly diagnosed my injuries with his in-office ultrasound and gave me tangible, conservative rehab to follow. I'll see him again in 6 weeks to see how I've progressed. As a bonus, we looked at my left meniscus again and it is strong!! Dr Paul is thoughtful, thorough, and innovative. I highly, highly recommend him.

I had been having pain in my left hip that was interfering with my yoga practice, so I connected with my PC doc and started to look into what it could be. While waiting three months to get an MRI, the pain increased so much I could no longer do the morning hikes I loved so much with my husband. It turned out that I had a labrum tear that needed to be repaired. My Physical Therapist, Mindy Marantz, suggested I consult with Dr Paul to discuss a regenerative solution instead of having the invasive surgery this injury would require. I was so impressed by Dr Paul on so many levels. He was not only clearly knowledgable and highly skilled in his specialty, he also clearly saw everyone in the room as an essential part of the healing team and process. I have never had that with a physician before. We patients are a very essential part of the healing team and Dr Paul knows just how to honor that and tap into that process while he works his beautiful scientific magic of healing. I am now walking again and I am able to do all my daily tasks without pain. I'm looking forward to getting back to my yoga practice, morning hikes with my husband and so much more. There was no down time after my Regenerative proceedure. There has only been " UpTime" !

Highly pleased. I have had a bone spur in the left ankle which has given me pain much of the time over the past five years. The normal procedure would be a hospital surgery to remove the bone spur. Dr Paul uses a FDA approved Tenet ultrasound device which dissolves the bone spurs with only tiny penetration of the skin with what looks like a fine needle. No sutures are needed. A focused ultrasound wave energy precisely dissolves the bone spur as the doctor observes with ongoing ultrasound. With a local anesthetic, there is absolutely no pain during the procedure. Seems like high tech magic. Because the area of bone removal was weight bearing, I had to use crutches for about a week even though I had minimal to no pain in recovery. Dr. Paul is a excellent communicator and answered all my nerdy questions patiently and clearly.
