About this clinic

Sundance Physical Therapy, a regenerative physical-medicine clinic in Santa Monica, specializes in shockwave therapy alongside traditional physical therapy for musculoskeletal pain and soft-tissue injury. Shockwave therapy uses acoustic-pulse technology to stimulate the body's healing response in areas of chronic tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, and joint dysfunction. The clinic also offers extracorporeal magnetic transduction therapy (EMTT), another regenerative modality that employs electromagnetic pulses to support tissue repair. Treatment plans combine these regenerative approaches with conventional physical-therapy protocols, allowing patients to address underlying tissue damage rather than manage symptoms alone. Dr Massoud was is the best. The EMTT machine is able to heal injuries

Lisette Kramer · March 5th, 2026

Massoud is absolutely great and super knowledgeable. My teen daughter just saw him for an ankle injury and he helped her immensely, along with his advanced medical technology resources. He sent her home each time with tailored exercises/ stretches to promote healing. He was always SO focused on her and genuinely wanted to help her get back to health. Highly recommend! Kevin at the front desk is also kind, accommodating and helpful with insurance questions. Thank you Sundance!

I had a horrible experience at this place. They left me with a horrible injury, that i have spent two months trying to heal. Here is the story. They called one day and asked if I could come at a different time, because someone was out sick. I said I couldn't and they said just come anyway. So the main therapist and owner was trying to do three people at once, and he decided to give me new exercises that day. Several of them. He put a heavy band on and I was doing a leg thing. No one was paying attention and with an hour of leaving I was having major pain in my periformis and psoas, which I am still dealing with two months later. The first couple of times i went there it was ok but they really don't pay attention and they broke me instead of healing me. that's it.
