I was once given too high a ketamine dose and I thought I died. Genuinely the scariest moment of my entire life. Extremely unprofessional and dangerous. Administering a psychedelic drug via injection should be done by someone who knows how to properly do it and can do it CORRECTLY every time. If you decide to do ketamine therapy (which you shouldn’t), you must insist that you are weighed every time — which they should be doing anyway when the dosage you get is based on your weight — because they cut corners and as a result may give you dangerous doses of ketamine.
