Dr. Kim Furtado was excellent. She took the time to listen to my concerns and talk to me about my health concerns. She spent time after my appointment putting together a health plan for me. I am looking forward to following her recommendations and talking with her in my follow up appointment. She is very knowledgeable about so many things and I am so happy I have connected with her for my health.

Dr Kim Furtado is an excellent doctor. During our appointments the one thing I noticed, that stood out from other doctors, is that she listens intently to what you’re saying. She comes up with a plan that is built especially for you. The plan is great! It outlines what she wants you to do….The tools you need to implement the plan…..and step-by-step instructions for you to follow. She always has your Health and best interest at heart.

Dr. Furtado is an amazing practitioner. Kind a very reasonable and wonderful bedside manner. She does a very detailed intake, listens carefully in the longest session I’ve ever had with a practitioner, and considers everything you tell her. She considers the whole of your life and your lifestyle in your treatment plan. For example, she actually helped solve problems with my children waking up in the night which actually affected my health. She has done more for me than any Gastro I’ve ever seen. Highly recommend!

My wife has food allergies, ringing in her ears, and metal taste in her mouth. After much research looking for a Naturopathic doctor, I came across this one. She had so many excellent reviews, we decided she was the best one to treat her. What a disappointment! We paid for all of the testing (labs, urinalysis, saliva), the video chats, 12 weeks of supplements at over $300/mo. At the end of this detox phase 9/19/2022, we paid another $229 for urinalysis testing that would determine the next course of action. A video call was scheduled for 10/28 to discuss the results. Dr. Furtado sent an email on 10/21 to cancel the appointment as the results were not yet available. Rescheduled for 11/11. On 11/3 she rescheduled for 11/28. On 11/28 she cancelled again due to no test results yet. She said her assistant would call next week to reschedule. That didn’t happen. Finally on 12/24, we sent an email stating that I would dispute the $229 charge on my credit card for test results that we had still not received after 90 days. On 12/28 the arrogant Dr sent an email response blaming my wife for not calling her sooner. She said she has 22 patients waiting for test results. And she didn’t realize we had been waiting so long. Then she sent another email saying that she would refund our money, and that the lab had sent her a refund also. And that the results had come in on 12/21. So this all could have been avoided if she was paying attention to her business. We told her will find another doctor and would like the results. She told us to call the lab ourselves, or make an appointment to speak to her. Any business professional would have apologized for the delay, made a quick phone call to discuss the results, and then scheduled a video call to discuss the next course of action. Instead, she chose to blame the patient for her failure to act professionally.

My experience was wonderful with Dr Furtado! She listened to all my concerns and had so much insightful information I never even thought of. She quickly came up with a care plan that was easy to follow and explained everything she recommended.. She also was quick to answer any questions I had about anything. She is definitely worth seeing if you are looking for optimal health.
