Lake Mary Behavioral and Infusion Center

As a previous patient, when I received February’s newsletter announcing their excitement about the recent expansion of Lake Mary Behavioral & Infusion Center to a new location, I reflected on my time as a patient there. As many have commented, the care with which Dr. Cubano & his staff give so generously to their patients has always been exceptional. But, one of the defining characteristics that has not been mentioned that sets Dr. Cubano & his team apart from other practices is the HOPE they quietly instill in their patients. The support I received from him & his incredible staff gave me the hope I had not realized I never received from previous providers. Hope is as much of a “treatment” as any medication or therapy. In fact, I believe it is the greatest of all therapies one can receive that has the ability to drive us to achieve our goals of mental wellness. I highly recommend for others who are seeking compassionate, comprehensive care and the HOPE we all need to propel us to achieve our individual goals, to consider treatment at Lake Mary Behavioral & Infusion Center!

I was to have a video appointment with A PA by name of Jeffery Lewis, after I explained I was having difficulties getting my camera and mic he hung up on me and STILL tried billing me for my COPAY. I called the receptionist Sheila back at Debary clinic where he was located. As I was explaining the situation with her she interrupted me, several times trying to control the conversation, basically trying to say it was my fault and no apologies or compassion towards patients with mental health issues. Sheila was trying to protect herself and this PA, rather than being an ethical health care worker she hung up on me too. She simply did not want to hear me out or my concerns. I had to keep telling her to stop talking over me and she still carried on. This company is sad and lacks any compassion or just hates their jobs. I will NEVER use them again and will steer anyone from using this business. Very sad, disappointing and frustrating. Shameless
