I have been seeing Dr. Kurt Youngberg since 2019 and has helped me work through some tremendously emotional and taxing events in my professional and family life and helped me find positive life changing transformation. I have since recommended Apraxis Center to my family and friends. This unique practice has incredible heart for their clients/patients - really all people.

I had the rare opportunity to take an excursion with Apraxis Center Excursions to Peru. I was introduced to this center by a good friend of mine, and do have to say I was apprehensive about going on a wellness retreat. I didn’t know what to expect, was it going to be mostly influenced with workshops and sessions. Having enormous amounts of anxiety and dread speaking in groups was also something I was concerned about. Not to mention I am also a Deaf man with a cochlear implant. I was pleasantly surprised how natural and cohesive the entire trip was. It winded up being the best decision I have ever made. Kurt and Barrett made me and everyone in the group feel comfortable and took the time to get to know us all individually while doing excursions. They were so accommodating to my hearing loss as well. They had patience with us and allowed us to open up at our own pace and it was like a spark just ignited and we all bonded without any pressure. I learned so much about myself and took risks I never would have before. Friendships were made and healing was done. It was extremely sad to depart from Apraxis and the two amazing Psychologist Kurt and Barrett. I am already thinking about my next trip through Apraxis.
