Dr. B has truly been a Godsend in my 7-year-old daughter’s journey with eczema and allergies. He is the only doctor I have found in Georgia and the Southeast offering LDA immunotherapy treatment, and we just completed our first dose yesterday. I look forward to coming back to update this review with the progress we see! Dr. B also offers AAET with Mayra, who is such a sweet, caring professional. AAET helped calm my daughter’s immune system significantly. It even identified allergies that had shown up on prior bloodwork, along with additional food intolerances we weren’t fully aware of. After treatment, she seemed better able to tolerate some of those foods without flaring. Because of her high IgE allergies to wheat, dairy, and egg—along with multiple environmental allergies, pet dander, and mold confirmed through previous bloodwork with her allergist—we decided to proceed with LDA with Dr B. It covers approximately 300 allergens. This treatment comes highly recommended for children with eczema from my research. Linda, Dr. B’s assistant, is an absolute gem. She is calm, patient, understanding, and truly listens. I was very anxious about the strict LDA diet and all the guidelines, but Dr. B personally called me—despite his very limited time—to address my concerns. That meant so much and greatly eased my anxiety. They also respond promptly through their patient portal, which I deeply appreciate. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to many other functional medicine providers. I truly believe God aligned our paths, knowing we could not afford to travel out of state for LDA or enroll in an extremely expensive program. We are so grateful and hopeful for what’s ahead!!!

I do not recommend this place. My family and I lived out of the country for a few years and during that time some gut problems I had all my life developed into something more serious. I came to Dr. Tom Theocharides and explained my lifelong food allergies and the symptoms I had my whole life, and the weight problems that may or may not have been part of it. He listened to me explain this for about an hour, but never seemed to actually keep it in his mind. I had to re-explain this four or five times over the next four or five months. He would regularly be late for appointments coming from out of town and simply not remember what we had discussed the previous time, so I would have to take up the appointment going over my history again. Now, I have a degree in biochemistry and was about as educated as you can be on this topic. I tracked calories and exercised regularly. I eat a healthy diet and have good habits. Yet, I continue to have severe food allergies and other issues. Many of these issues disappear when I am not in America. After about three months they finally got me blood tests and other tests. I could have done that myself. I asked for allergy tests and possibly some genetic testing and epigenetic testing (methylation testing). Instead they kept trying to feed me overpriced supplements and give me “energetic tests” with no repeatable results or objective standards. Despite following his orders to a T, tracking calories, exercise, and fasting (I informed him fasting did not produce long-term results in my long history of trying it, but I do it to show I was willing to follow a program), I had very minimal results. I insisted the symptoms were not matching what he was trying to do. I was willing to pay for tests I thought might be effective, but eventually after admitting that his treatments seemed not to be working and swearing he would consult other doctors he just ghosted me. Many people recommend this place, but I get the feeling there is a lot of placebo effect going on.

Not a fan. Took my young son to see if they could help with allergies which the Genesis Center in Cumming said they could not help with. I spent a small fortune on the initial appointment where they told me I had a mold problem in my house. There was no mold problem as I had someone come out and test the air. After three different places told me the wrong diagnosis I eventually found the Medical Medium. I followed all instructions on changing my son's diet to a natural plant based diet and he has healed and is now very healthy. No allergies, no mold in the house and not a diagnosis of Lyme disease which he had be originally told he had by the Genesis Center. Don't waste your money.
