Let me start by saying the care I have received has been phenomenal!!!! From the minute I walk in, the receptionists, to the nurses, to labs team, to all my procedures, all the ultrasound, EVERYTHING!!! The team has always been lovely, efficient, understanding and compassionate!!!! My doctor was Dr Karmon, the most humble woman, I've ever met! She is beyond incredible at her craft/specialty and always had the solution to my fertility struggles. It wasn’t linear for us but she made it happen!!! My IVF coordinator Anissa is nothing but a gem!!! She’s very supportive, kind, empathetic and makes us laugh all the time. We are lucky to have her!!! Today we graduated clinic with our little bundle of joy growing rapidly!!! We are truly blessed to have been supported by the best fertility team on island. My husband and I had such an amazing experience at the Fertility Institute of Hawaii. From day one, Dr. John Frattarelli made us feel completely comfortable. He is patient, clear, and took the time to explain everything in a way that eased our worries. His expertise and calm presence gave us so much confidence throughout this journey.
Our care coordinator, Julia Kang, was just as incredible. She was kind, responsive, and always willing to answer our many questions. Her communication was timely and filled with care, and she made each step feel supported and manageable.
Every staff member we interacted with showed genuine warmth and professionalism. We truly felt cared for as a whole ʻohana. Mahalo nui to Dr. Frattarelli, Julia, and the entire FIH team for making this journey such a positive and comforting experience.

I want to start off by saying if I could give the fertility institute 10 stars I would.
When going through a fertility journey it can be very overwhelming, frustrating, anxious, and some insecurities when it comes to being a women and having to do this. But with the institute they were very passionate, understanding, committed, sensitive, welcoming, very very caring and literally held my husband and I hands with this process. You don’t know how much you need a car coordinator( Claire) until you start this process Claire become my person that I didn’t know I needed. She was always accommodating and making sure we had everything we needy. If anything came up she had no problem with making sure I got in as soon as possible. If I got scared she would reassure me everything would be ok and if I needed time she would support that also. Dr Frattarelli I like to call him super man because I felt going through this long two year journey he came in and saved the day. He was so gentle when communicating information with my husband and I. He handled us with care and did let us know every detail of each procedure that we had to go through, he never rushed and took his time to make sure we understood everything that we going on. We appreciated that from the Dr. but also all the staff. I wanna also thank the front desk staff with being so welcoming and patient. Fertility institute is not just a business it’s our family. If you are doing research and trying to figure where you want to do your a IVF journey Fertility institute Hawaii is it. we will be doing our second round with them.

Our fertility journey has been an emotional and transformative experience, and we could not have asked for a better team to guide us than our incredible Doctor Frattarelli and nurse Julia. From day one, they have been the definition of kindness, compassion, and professionalism.
Our Doctor is truly top-class—knowledgeable, thoughtful, and exceptionally thorough. Every step of the way, they made sure we understood our options, felt empowered in our decisions, and never once felt rushed. Their expertise gave us confidence, but it was their genuine care that made all the difference.
Our nurse Julia has been equally extraordinary. Patient, gentle, and endlessly supportive, they have been our steady anchor throughout this process. Their ability to blend warmth with clinical excellence is a rare gift, and we always felt seen, heard, and cared for.
Together, they made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel manageable and hopeful. Their teamwork, communication, and dedication to our well-being have been nothing short of remarkable.
We are deeply grateful for the compassion, skill, and encouragement they have shown us. Anyone going through a fertility journey would be incredibly fortunate to have a doctor and nurse like them by their side.

I had a very positive experience with the fertility institute. IVF is not something I ever thought I would have to go through and I had a lot of trepidation about the process. That is why it’s extremely important to feel comfortable and supported, and that’s exactly how I would describe my experience with the fertility institute. Dr. Frattarelli was our doctor. He is to the point but he is also compassionate and it very much seems he develops a plan that focuses on maximizing your success.
Silivia was an excellent coordinator. She was always prompt with answering any questions and was super supportive the whole time. All of the PA’s were very thorough during the scans and I appreciated their knowledge and expertise.
It’s so nice they offer acupuncture at their office which I took advantage of for the day of my embryo transfer. I highly recommend.
It seems like a very busy clinic, however I was always able to get appointment times that I needed to accommodate my schedule, which was especially helpful when I was living on a different island and having to travel to their location. The clinic is extremely clean.
I’m extremely grateful that I had access to such a great fertility clinic living on the islands. I’m absolutely thrilled to welcome my baby into the world and I so appreciate them for helping me get there!
