As thorough and patient and technical a consult I’ve ever had with a doctor. Took the time out to answer all of my questions and do a multifaceted approach to the overall exam and evaluation. The entire experience gave me a lot of confidence on how to move forward. I highly recommend you taking the time out to schedule an appointment with Dr. Lin if you have any hesitancy or doubt or concern about your road to 100% good health.

Referred to Dr. Lin through Regenexx for treatment on my knee. He was pleasant, thorough and detailed. Then the next procedure in the process got denied by my insurance and I haven’t heard from his office since then. I’ve left voice mails, text messages & emails - no reply, no call back.

Dr. Lin and his PRP therapy restored my surfing career! I tore 3 ligaments in my ankle and it just wasn't healing even after 2 months of rest and 2 months of physical therapy from someone else. I'm a 38 year old dentist and extreme sports junkie. I have had lots of injuries over the years but lately I haven't been healing well. I sought Dr. Lin help and he suggested two rounds of PRP in combination with PT and I have to say the results were dramatic. The 1st round took care of the swelling and pain and the 2nd round allowed me to put weight back on it again in the full range of motion. I just went surfing for the first time in 6 months a couple days ago and it was a dream! My ankle feels stable and I had confidence really pushing it. No pain even days later. I cant recommend this procedure enough for those to whom he recommends it. He was honest about what a realistic outcome looked like, what the risks were, and certainly didn't try to "sell" me the treatment. He was attentive when I had questions and very patient and thorough when explaining things. He adjusted the treatment plan as my particular situation needed. His front desk does a lot of jobs and I found them hard to reach at first to get the process started. But once I actually made it in the door to my first appointment they were very accommodating of my schedule both for exams and treatment. You might have to wait a couple minutes when you arrive for your appointment but I never waited more than 10 minutes and I could always hear it was because he was giving the patient ahead of me the same dedication that he then gave me, which I appreciated. For those who this matters (it did to me) he takes his surgical prep and sterilization very seriously. He did my injections via fluoroscopy and ultrasound guidance. He talks to you throughout the procedure and uses cryo to make the injections painless. Like literally painless. I was really surprised each time. He did tell me it would be super sore the next day which it definitely was but the pain meds were more than enough and it was feeling good by the 2nd day. I had such a good experience that when I saw him for a follow up yesterday I asked him to take a look at a nagging knee injury that I have and expected him to recommend PRP since I had such a good result with my ankle but he didn't. He spent time examining it and recommended PT. Honesty is sometimes a lost thing in this world and that was refreshing. Before my initial visit with Dr. Lin I had paid for exams out of pocket with some high profile surgeons in San Diego and San Francisco because I wasn't sure how the sports medicine was in Hawaii. After my initial consultation with Dr. Lin I decided that I liked him just the same and am SO glad I proceeded with treatment with him. I have recommended him to all my other late 30's sports junkie friends for their ailments as well. I would recommend the same for you. Thanks Dr. Lin! You rock Rasheed
