When I first discovered this clinic, I was in one of the darkest places imaginable — completely suicidal and terrified for myself. I had just left a rehab facility that I thought would help with mental health, but it turned out to be something very different, and I left after only being there for 24 hours. I didn’t know where else to turn.
I called the Boise Ketamine Clinic and got an appointment even though I honestly couldn’t afford it at the time. The treatment series cost a couple thousand dollars, which felt overwhelming — but it ended up being the best investment I’ve ever made in myself. It completely changed my life.
During one of my early treatments, I truly thought I was dying - “Oh, how things in my mind suddenly flipped.” It was an intense, life-changing experience that I still don’t fully have words for. But from that point on, something shifted in me. My trauma, my anxiety, my PTSD — all of it started to finally make sense and heal in ways that years of therapy had only touched on.
Since then, this clinic has carried me through so much — including a breast cancer diagnosis and surgeries, on top of already surviving stage 4 Hodgkin’s lymphoma when I was 19. Through it all, the Boise Ketamine Clinic has been my safe place — a space where I’ve felt understood, cared for, and truly supported.
Nykol, the owner, deserves special recognition. She is one of the most genuine, knowledgeable, and compassionate people I’ve ever met. She has spent so much time talking with me, sharing her wisdom, and offering guidance that has deeply inspired and comforted me. Her dedication to helping people heal is truly life-changing.
The rest of the team is just as incredible. Marcela is an amazing nurse — kind, attentive, and skilled. The front desk staff is always accommodating, warm, and genuine. They go above and beyond to make every visit feel comfortable and welcoming.
I can’t say enough good things about this team. I only wish this treatment was more widely available and covered by insurance, because everyone deserves the chance to experience this level of healing.
I’m currently finishing the final stages of my breast cancer surgeries, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t have made it this far mentally or emotionally without Boise Ketamine Clinic. It’s become a place I genuinely love — my safe space and my time to reconnect with myself.

Boise ketamine clinic has changed my life. I went to another ketamine clinic before and they were horrible. This clinic has been so flexible and supportive. They have amazing therapists and I continue to do it about every 3 months or when I have triggers. I never thought I would have this high quality of life. It’s changed every aspect of my life and CPTSD, MDD, and anxiety/agoraphobia. I highly recommend Marisa for a therapist trauma lead therapy session. Thank you everyone who works there!

Words cannot describe how amazing BKC is. The office is always incredible clean and comfortable. You are in individual rooms with doors shut while on your healing journey. Every single staff member that I have come in contact with has made me feel so taken care of, valued, and cared for. I have never once felt like I was just being rushed along and rushed out. While everyone’s experience is different, I appreciate the wide variety of options that they have to help you take care of yourself. I came in shy, hesitant, and nervous of what it was going to look like. Since then, I have only been met with kindness and sincerity.
Due to the nature of what BKC does, it everyone’s treatment looks a little different. For me, I enjoyed being in their comfortable recliners, watching their lights on the ceilings, and the freedom to do what makes me comfortable. I love that I was able to be by myself while recording treatment all while having staff only a button press away. They provide music, blankets, weighted blankets, pillows, little snacks if you need them, candy to suck on, music, and more.
I have never felt less like a burden. It felt like the staff knew me by name and made an effort to get to know me and my preferences. It created a safe environment for me to ask questions and do what I needed to do. I could not recommend them enough. I am actually sad I will no longer get to see them as regularly!

Bringing my daughter to The Boise Ketamine Clinic was one of the most important decisions we’ve made in her healing journey. She lives with PTSD, trauma, and anxiety, and after trying multiple traditional therapies, we felt it was time to explore something new. We were guided with compassion every step of the way.
She completed six IV ketamine sessions, and I can say with full sincerity: this experience brought hope, light, and true healing into our lives.

It’s taken me nearly a year to write this review because it’s hard to find the words to describe how incredible my experience with Boise Ketamine Clinic has been. This therapy and the practitioners I’ve worked with at BKC helped save my life. I was at my lowest low with anxiety, panic, and depression in 2023. I’d forgotten how to have fun, how to relax, how to break out of the cycle of anxiety and panic over everyday life. After my first therapist attended and solo sessions, that mindset changed. I slowly started to gain the ability to regulate my nervous system, and with a few more sessions, I felt like I could breathe deeply again (figuratively and literally).
The intake process is extremely quick and easy. Scheduling is a snap (I always text as an established patient.) The staff is amazing! The clinic is homey and welcoming. It has clean, comfy rooms with lots of blankets, soft lighting, sleep masks, and relaxing music. I bring my own music and blanket, but I love knowing if I forget one of these items, they have them. I appreciate my husband being welcome to attend every session, which immediately removes anxiety about trying something new.
I’ve primarily worked with Sean Brosnan In the therapist-assisted sessions, and Marcela typically places my IV or gives the injection. I can’t express how wonderful, kind, caring, and generous Sean and Marcela have been. They’ve truly made a major impact on my life. I’m incredibly grateful for each person who greeted me, set up appointments, delivered medications, and listened to my ramblings during sessions. Boise Ketamine Clinic is a place of healing, a place to rest and reset. I can’t recommend them enough!
