I recently received stem cell on both shoulders from Dr Joseph Fortin and his team at STAR Health, and I could not be more pleased with the care I received. From my 1st consultation Dr Fortin took the time to listen carefully and explain my condition and walk me through every step of the regenerative therapy. His knowledge of pain and diagnostics and regenerative medicine is outstanding. Since the stem cell procedure I've been able to do things I have not been able to do in years. I appreciate that Dr Fortin focuses on treating the root cause of the pain and not juts masking the symptoms. Star 10 years ago I was experiencing intense pain in my neck and right shoulder. I consulted with two orthopedic surgeons who said I needed discs C-4,5 and 6 fused. Not wanting to have neck surgery, I consulted my chiropractor Dr. Daniel Miller who recommended that I consult with Dr Joe Fortin. After the initial consultation and several visits to determine exactly what was causing my discomfort he recommended I have an ablation of specific facet nerves in the affected vertebrae. I had the procedure in January of 2016 and after a decade I am still pain free. Would I recommend Dr Fortin to others experiencing pain? Absolutely!! Jeff Studebaker

At 28 years old, I had a bulging disc in my back and had no desire for surgery or repetitive steroid injections. Dr. Fortin set me up with a PRP injection and I am thrilled with my results!
