Dr Soni might be one of the best Drs I have ever had. He absolutely loves helping people, and has always been very supportive of my needs. I have been seeing Dr Soni, or sometimes other Doctors in his office, for 6 years now. I honestly do not know where I’d be without there support. They really do care about you as an individual patient. You are not just another number to them. They are very personable, they take the time to get to know you as a person, patient. I can promise you, there is not a more caring, loving, team of psychiatrist out there! From day one, these people have made a huge difference in my life. Over the past 6 years I have referred several people to Dr Soni’ office, and they are all still patients of his. I love this place! Not sure where I’d be without there support.

Dr. Soni is a fantastic doctor. He listens to you, gives you the time that you need and is always on time to your appointments. I have seen other doctors in the past and he is a breath of fresh air. He provides compassionate care and support for his patients. He is not judgmental and understands his patients needs. Anytime I have needed something his staff is also very helpful and quick to respond. I would highly recommend Dr. Soni.

I’m writing this review because truly knowledgeable, patient-centered doctors in the realm of benzodiazepine deprescribing are exceedingly rare and Dr. Soni Hiten is one of them. Before working w/Dr. Hiten, my experience within both primary care and mental health medicine was deeply troubling. I encountered abrupt med changes, overly rapid tapers, dismissal of my symptoms, and a consistent framing of my situation as behavioral rather than medical. I was treated as difficult rather than injured, as a liability rather than a patient in need of care. Administrative missteps/restrictive prescribing practices further compounded an already destabilizing experience. Dr. Hiten represented a complete departure from that approach. From our first interaction, he demonstrated clinical humility, technical understanding, and genuine respect for my lived experience. Rather than pushing me to move faster, he prioritized stabilizing and asked thoughtful, patient-centered questions to guide decision-making. symptoms emerged after a reduction, he responded with careful adjustment rather than rigidity an approach grounded in sound clinical judgment. He supports a slow, individualized, symptom-based taper to allow for precise and gradual changes. he has avoided unnecessary polypharmacy and recognizes BWD as a legitimate neurophysiological process. He takes health anxiety seriously without pathologizing it. Dr. Hiten has also been thorough in monitoring my overall health and reassessing relevant diagnoses to ensure nothing is overlooked. he treats me as a collaborative partner in my care rather than a passive recipient of it. Under his guidance, I have stabilized, my symptoms are improving. For the first time in this process, I feel genuinely safe and supported within the medical system. The benzodiazepine community urgently needs more clinicians like Dr. Hiten providers who are knowledgeable, patient-centered, willing to practice slowly and thoughtfully in a system that too often prioritizes speed over safety. His approach aligns with best-practice, Maudsley-style principles and actively challenges the stigma that many patients face. If you are tapering, struggling, or have felt dismissed by other providers, Dr. Hiten exemplifies the standard of care you deserve. He does not simply manage symptoms he restores trust and, ultimately, lives.

Dr. Soni initially seemed professional, but over time I became uncomfortable with several aspects of care. During video visits, privacy felt lacking, and communication was often ineffective.
I was also persistently asked to leave Google or Yelp reviews at the end of appointments, which felt unprofessional and distracting from patient care. Additionally, medication refills were frequently delayed, adding unnecessary stress.
For these reasons, I have chosen to move to a different provider.

I go here for the ketamine therapy only so my review is for that. All the staff is friendly and responsive. I never have to worry about Tammy forgetting to respond to a text or voicemail. The program is well run.
The rooms for the infusions are calming, blankets and headphones are provided if you need them. With treatments like this, environment and personnel is everything.
The healthcare providers supervising treatment have always been caring and respectful to me. They ask for my input to help tailor my treatment to what I feel will work for me.
Overall, treatment has been a wonderful experience. I would recommend both the treatment and this location to anyone that needed it.
