The people here truly care about our community. They go above and beyond! They do so much for our community even though some people talk badly about them and say they are just money hungry. That couldn’t be further from the truth. If they weren’t here a lot of Trans people wouldn’t get the hormones they need to be who they truly are, myself included! Thank you for all the work you do Mcare!

I had a very negative experience with this clinic and especially with Amanda. When I first saw her in 2022, she was unprofessional, used inappropriate language, and seemed unfamiliar with my case at each visit. Because of that, I requested to see someone else. I continued going to the clinic until I lost my insurance in August 2024. I was always polite and respectful. When I regained insurance this year, I called to schedule an appointment and was placed with Amanda again. I decided to give her another chance and start fresh. On the day of my appointment (10/14/25), just hours before my scheduled time, Amanda called and said she was refusing to see me, claiming I had treated her staff poorly. I politely asked her to explain what she meant, but she refused and accused me of “arguing.” When I explained that I am autistic and genuinely didn’t understand what she was referring to, she said, “Respectfully, I wish you all the luck in your care,” and hung up on me. This was extremely unprofessional and hurtful. I do not recommend this clinic for anyone seeking compassionate, respectful, or trauma-informed care.

I've been going to this clinic for like I think 3 or 4 years now and as someone that has like had extensive medical issues for many years and has had many doctors, this is the nicest primary I've ever had. I see them for gender affirming care too. So as someone that's chronically ill, it's very nice to have gender for main care and primary Care in the same person. And it's because of that that when I went in for a normal testosterone check my physician who is trained and more than just gender affirming care noticed a white blood cell count of 49.3,000 white blood cells and it's because of her knowledge that she sent me to a hematologist and I ended up getting diagnosed with cancer soon enough that I did not have to go through chemo because we caught it so early. It's because of that care, compassion and knowledge that I did not have to go through a more intense cancer treatment. I also am chronically ill so I'm in that office maybe every other week and so it's very hard for me to not feel anxious about being there so often so to have a physician that is so passionate about her practice and about me being better physically and to Just basically tell me she would rather see me everyday in that office than in the hospital is beyond reassuring. This is a great clinic. Yeah, sometimes wait times are a little longer but that's because they're humans you know so sometimes shit happens and you just got to be patient and it's worth it to see physicians that care about you and actually want you to succeed and be healthy
