I cannot recommend June Tait at Scarborough Physical Therapy highly enough. I struggled with frozen shoulder for 2 years and June provided exceptional care through focal and radial shockwave therapy that made an incredible difference in my recovery. She worked seamlessly alongside Dr. Alison Lee at Leeward Health, who administered two PRP injections as part of my treatment plan. June's expertise, compassion, and dedication to my healing were evident at every appointment. She took the time to explain each treatment, adjusted her approach based on my progress, and genuinely cared about my goals. The combination of her skilled shockwave therapy and the PRP injections proved to be exactly what I needed. Thanks to June's treatment, I was able to dance at my daughter's wedding and hug my relatives completely pain-free—moments I had worried I might not be able to fully enjoy. These milestones meant the world to me, and I'm so grateful to June for helping me get there. If you're dealing with frozen shoulder or similar issues, I wholeheartedly recommend seeing June Tait. She's not just an excellent physical therapist; she's someone who truly invests in her patients' recovery and quality of life.

I went to June Tait (PT, DPT) specifically for shockwave therapy for a chronic hamstring tear and did two full rounds of four sessions each. I have done years of PT and have worked with a dozen different practitioners over the years and June was among the most informed, professional, timely and attentive of them all. I trust her completely with my care and felt that she trusted me completely with knowing about my own injury and pain. Overall the office was very professional, the admin staff organized and thorough, and the environment professional yet warm. I would recommend to anyone looking for shockwave therapy!

Scarborough pt has been my go to place for therapy for years, and I love this place. But something has seriously shifted. A referral was sent over for my hip on 16 Dec 24. I didn’t hear anything and just figured it’s the holidays and they are probably swamped. So I waited till 3 Jan 25 to follow up. I called at 0800 and the woman at front desk told me they never received the referral. So I contact physician who assured me it was sent, but that they would resend. Doctor’s office told me to follow up with pt within an hour. I actually waited 6 hours and was again told by the front desk that they never received it and that it takes 3-4 days for them to get referrals. I asked is it possible it’s there at the fax and you just haven’t seen it. I was again told no, it was never received. I called the doctor back, we were both perplexed as it’s instantaneous in sending. So another referral was sent. As of this writing 1/13/25 I’m still being told by the front office that no referral has been received but that they would be happy to put me on a waiting list. For what I wonder to get the referral? Not sure what has changed here, maybe new mgmt, but something isn’t working.
