About this clinic

Healing In Motion, a regenerative physical medicine clinic in Novi, Michigan, specializes in shockwave therapy for musculoskeletal conditions and soft-tissue injuries. Radial shockwave therapy is used to address chronic pain, tendinopathy, and calcific deposits in joints and tendons, often as an alternative to more invasive interventions. The clinic integrates myofascial release techniques alongside shockwave treatment to support tissue mobilization and recovery. Treatment plans are individualized based on the patient's condition and response, with the goal of promoting the body's natural healing processes rather than relying on corticosteroid injections or surgery alone. The practice positions itself as a regenerative option for patients with persistent musculoskeletal complaints.

I have had long term left hip and pelvis pain and have had various treatments over the years. Nothing seemed to give long term relief. I decided to try Radial Pressure Wave Therapy and had a healthy dose of skepticism. After 3 treatments I am very happy! I was able to cross country ski 3 days in a row for several hours each day with minimal discomfort. I was able to snow plow while skiing without pain. I am able to sleep without tossing and turning to find a comfortable position. Two months ago prior to treatment, I had to really limit how much and how far I skied as it was too painful. Finding a comfortable sleep position was difficult. I would highly recommend this treatment. I am looking forward to being able to garden without pain. Thank you Lisa Wiley for treating me!

Amazing! Even after just a few sessions, there are definite results, results also verified by my pilates trainer. Seriously, if you are considering this - and I HIGHLY recommend that you do - go to Lisa at Healing in Motion. You won't regret it. She's a great person too! (Also, you need to know that you don't have to have a big problem to benefit from this. Mine are all minor but "fixing" them will have an effect as I age; I am certain of that. My gait has become better. That's pretty important in the long term.)

Highly recommend Lisa for miofascial release. I came to her with a chronic muscular imbalance in my neck and left shoulder from getting electrocuted. I had tried many things from physical therapy and acupuncture to deep tissue massage and cranial sacral therapy. Continued seeing Lisa for 6+ months as every visit always felt like it was contributing towards slow & steady progress (and/or reversing negative trends that sometimes developed). Lisa's in depth knowledge of human anatomy added a lot of value to her treatment as she often found ways to trigger, release, or re-balance obscure muscles and the relationships between them. Having experts like Lisa around is a real gift to healthcare in the Ann Arbor area. Lisa is often humble, but she really knows her stuff. If you're looking for solutions to chronic muscle issues and haven't tried MFR, give Healing in Motion a try!
