Minnesota
Most hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) in Minnesota is delivered in the Twin Cities metro. Outside it, hospital-based hyperbaric medicine tends to sit in regional medical centers such as Rochester, Duluth and St. Cloud, and much of greater Minnesota has little or nothing close by. Readers in the northwest, the southwest or along the western border often face a long drive, and some find Fargo, Sioux Falls or western Wisconsin nearer than Minneapolis.
Some Minnesotans look into HBOT for migraine. HBOT is not a standard migraine treatment. The research on acute migraine is small and low quality, migraine is not among the uses chambers are cleared for, and insurers generally do not cover it for headache. A neurologist or headache specialist is the usual first stop, and any hyperbaric provider taking migraine cases should explain how it would fit alongside that care.
Minnesota has no HBOT rule of its own that we can point to, so the general federal device rules and professional scope of practice apply. Hard chambers usually run on a physician order with a trained technician present, often in hospital wound care departments, while lower pressure soft chambers appear in wellness studios. Check physicians and physician assistants with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and nurses with the Minnesota Board of Nursing. A lookup confirms an active licence and public discipline, not hyperbaric training or how a facility runs its chambers.
Before booking anywhere in the state, ask who orders and supervises your sessions, which chamber type and pressure you will get, and where the oxygen comes from. Ask for risks such as ear and sinus pressure injury in writing, what happens if it does not help, and what a quote itemizes.
Organic order on this page is not for sale. Featured slots are labeled and capped. Verified means a clinic completed our credential checks, not that it spent more. Regenerated.com is free for patients, and inclusion is not an endorsement.
The national HBOT hub covers the mechanism and the evidence. Read How to read a Regenerated city hub and Featured vs Verified vs organic before comparing listings.
