I called Dr. Sofie after learning about functional medicine on my own. On the first phone call, where I was really inquiring if there was any hope of stopping the worsening of my conditions she tossed out some really shocking ideas - the biggest of which is that I can not only heal these issues I've had, but I can thrive. Nothing I've researched in the last 36 years has been contradictory to what she said - although I had honestly almost given up. We met quickly and I got a new game plan. I very quickly saw improvements, which have stayed. She helped me heal SIBO after nearly 40 years of digestive issues. It was not an easy treatment, but I felt completely supported the whole way through. Dr. Sofie projects immense patience and faith in my ability to heal - which means a great deal. She's really easy to connect with and never left me hanging, wondering about anything. I still have a lot to work on, but I was utterly delighted to find the second SIBO test came back negative. At this point, I'm very pleased! On to the next... If approaching your health with a holistic more natural approach than traditional western medicine provides is your goal, she can definitely help.
