I normally don’t write long reviews, but my experience with HME has been beyond frustrating. After a serious car accident in September 2025 and an 85-day hospital stay, I needed incontinence supplies during recovery. My doctor sent a referral in mid-December 2025. As of today which is almost the end of February, I still have not received the correct supplies I needed.
I spent weeks calling HME almost daily around the middle of January. After finally speaking to someone, I was repeatedly told my doctor’s paperwork was unreadable or missing, yet my doctor confirmed multiple times that HME never contacted their office. They resent the referral again and provided proof the referrals were resent. HME also repeatedly claimed they called me and left voicemails, which never happened.
When I finally received a shipment, it was the wrong size and wrong style. Trying to exchange it turned into another round of delays, false claims of missed calls, and more paperwork. Even after getting an RMA and another shipment, the size was corrected but the style was still wrong.
I am done fighting with this company. I will be donating the unusable products and will never use or recommend HME again. Based on my experience and the many similar reviews, I strongly advise others to stay away.
I had to revise this to shorten this up so it would fit in this review. There were many details I had to remove to condense this.

I have been trying to get equipment picked up from my house that my Daughter used for almost 2 months now. I call and they say I am on the schedule for pickup but they are having trouble at the warehouse. I want these tanks and compressor out of my house.

. Called and ordered O2 tanks. Told delivery would be next day as normal. July 3, 2025 came and went. Called Thursday 430pm and was told still on for delivery on July 3. Called again July 5, 2025 and was told delivery will be Monday July 7th. Person I spoke with did not offer apology or accept responsibility for their problem. Instead she said, "well, you have a concentrator". That was so offensive to say. Concentrator keeps you tied to an electric outlet at home, portable last 2 1/2 hours on 3L before needing to be recharged. That means finding an outlet where ever you may be. It's offensive to remind me of having the concentrators as if I am so old. I can make due and stay close to home. I'm 64 and very active, and ambulatory. Have appts to go to, activities away from home and electric outlet. There is no excuse for this company to not have made sure custoners/patients orders were filled. VERY UPSET AND VERY DISAPPOINTED. JUST BECAUSE IM ON OXYGEN DOESNT MEAN ITS OK FOR THEM TO DISRESPECT ANY PATIENT. DONT ASSUME WE ARE INCAPACITATED. THEY ALL WILL BE IN OUR SHOES ONE WAY OR ANOTHER IN THEIR LIFETIME.
They never informed me of any billing problem or coding problem. They never followed up with an inquiry for and denials with insurance, nor notified us as patients there was any issue. What happened is I was cornered, when I called to exchange my o2 tanks. Barking at me that I can only have one oxygen supply, not 2. Like we patients should know?
They delivered o2 tanks w/pulse regulator and then also delivered a POC. Recently, after having these items for a year, they hold my oxygen tanks hostage telling me I can not have both. My insurance paid on these same items. Due to their confusion, they delivered me my oxygen tanks in July 2025. Went to order o2 tanks/bottles again for August and again, a manager had delivery guy on speaker, recording me? I still wasn't comfortable with giving up my POC until it's investigated by insurance. So the manager told the delivery guy to not leave the tanks. Called and fought, then got a 2nd approval from hme manager to deliver the oxygen. Since then, no answer from hme regarding any review and communication. I contacted COMPLIANCE who in turn put me in touch with billing manager. She was just as rude, cold, insensitive as several of the in bound call dept employees. Today 9/10/25 a delivery person showed up at my home, unannounced, wanting to pick up my oxygen tanks. I told the young man, he could have the POC, since that seems to be causing the hateful treatment towards me. He told me that no, he wouldn't take my life line, mainstay, but he will let his superior know I offered the POC.
I am switching suppliers, just can't do it soon enough. This company should have Medicare review! I have complained to insurance and Medicare. I hope others that have similar experiences with the horrendous lack of civility, report them as well. No patient should have their oxygen pinched off!!!!
