I can’t say enough on how thrilled I am that I found Dr Ripal Parikh! I’ve struggled with back/hip pain for almost a year. I was diagnosed with two herniated disks in my lower back that was causing pain in my hip and down the back of my leg. The pain was so bad I was living on ibuprofen taking it three to four times a day. I had also explored all other options and nothing was working. After one prolotherapy session with Dr Parikh I cut out the ibuprofen and was taking Tylenol only a few times a week for the pain. To cut a long story short after 6 sessions I’m back to 95% and it feels great all with no surgery!! I couldn’t be happier! Thanks again!!!

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Parikh right away because he was willing to try a different form of prolotherapy to treat post-herpetic neuralgia. I endured severe nerve damage (level 10 pain) for months that was slow to improve. I didn't want to do standard treatments like nerve blocks or become dependent on anti-convulsants like pregabalin because these don't really heal you. I was so grateful for Dr. Parikh's willingness to treat me (using prolotherapy in the perineural space) and his gentle bedside manner. He was patient, informative, knowledgeable, helpful while listened intently to my situation. My 1st visit gave me noticeable relief after a week and my condition improved. Then, after 3 weeks, it felt even better but I knew I needed to come back and continue treatments until I am pain-free. I am so delighted and hopeful that I found a local doctor who truly cares, partners with their patients, and genuinely wants to heal his patients using regenerative and functional medicine. As someone who has seen several doctors and specialists throughout the years to evaluate and treat my various symptoms related to my hEDS diagnosis, I can say that Dr. Parikh is one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable doctors I have ever worked with regarding my disability. After multiple appointments, Dr. Parikh still takes the time each session to thoroughly answer my questions and re-evaluate my targeted joints. Although I have a ways to go in my prolotherapy journey, after 3 sessions I have noticed an increase in stability and I feel more confident in living an active lifestyle.
