Oklahoma
Oklahoma's chelation therapy listings cluster mainly around Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Options thin out quickly elsewhere across central, southern and northeastern Oklahoma and the panhandle, where residents often travel toward one of the two metros. A smaller number cross into a neighboring state such as Texas or Kansas when an approach is easier to find there. If you live outside the main metros, confirm the treatment address, how many visits the plan requires, and whether lab work can happen closer to home before committing to repeated travel.
Chelating agents are prescription drugs, so whoever orders and administers them needs prescribing authority or direct supervision by someone who has it. In Oklahoma that typically means a physician, physician assistant or advanced practice nurse working within scope of practice, in an office, infusion suite, or wellness setting partnered with a prescriber. A setting's branding does not tell you who is prescribing or monitoring the infusion, so ask which license the treating clinician holds and how supervision works if they are not the prescriber.
Check a physician's or physician assistant's license with the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision, and an osteopathic physician's license with the Oklahoma Board of Osteopathic Examiners. If a nurse is involved, the Oklahoma Board of Nursing maintains a license lookup as well. These checks confirm a license is current and show any public disciplinary record; they do not establish that chelation therapy is right for you.
Before booking in Oklahoma, ask what is being administered, where it comes from, and who is prescribing and delivering it. Ask how risks such as kidney strain or mineral changes are disclosed in writing, and what happens if the plan is not helping. Request a quote that itemizes the consultation, medication, infusion and lab testing separately, rather than one bundled number.
The order clinics appear in here is not for sale. A small number of Featured slots are labeled and limited, and a Verified label means a clinic completed credential checks, not that it paid for placement. Using Regenerated.com costs patients nothing, and a clinic's presence in this directory is not an endorsement.
For what the evidence supports, see the national chelation therapy hub. For how this directory orders and labels listings, read How to read a Regenerated city hub and Featured vs Verified vs organic.
Regulatory context
The FDA has approved a narrow set of chelating agents for specific heavy metal toxicities. Calcium disodium edetate (CaNa2EDTA, Versenate) is approved for symptomatic lead poisoning, succimer (Chemet, DMSA) for pediatric lead poisoning at blood lead levels above 45 mcg/dL, deferoxamine (Desferal) and deferasirox (Exjade) for chronic iron overload, and dimercaprol (BAL) for arsenic, gold, and acute lead poisoning. Use of EDTA chelation for cardiovascular disease was studied in the NIH-funded TACT trial (2013) with controversial findings and remains not FDA-approved for that indication. Chelation for autism spectrum disorder is not evidence-based and has been linked to pediatric deaths. The FDA issued a 2010 sweep of warning letters to compounders marketing OTC chelation products with unapproved disease claims.
The Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and the Oklahoma State Board of Osteopathic Examiners have investigated chelation practitioners for marketing claims tied to non-approved indications. Oklahoma does not license NDs. Tulsa and Oklahoma City have notable integrative medicine communities. The Oklahoma osteopathic board has historically been more permissive on integrative therapies including chelation. The 2005 Pittsburgh pediatric chelation death informs board expectations.
