Ozone Therapy clinics in Oregon

This page lists ozone therapy clinics across Oregon, and supply is uneven across the state. The Portland metro carries the largest share of listings, with smaller concentrations around Eugene and Bend, while Salem, Medford, the coast and the rest of the state have far fewer options. A Eugene resident searching for ozone therapy will mostly see that same short list, so they are choosing among a narrow set rather than a deep market and may want to weigh traveling toward Portland for a wider range. Patients in southern Oregon, the coast, or counties east of the Cascades often travel the I-5 corridor into one of these metros for both the consultation and follow up visits, since little is offered close to home.

Oregon licenses several kinds of practitioners who might offer ozone therapy, and who may administer it depends on that license rather than the treatment name. Physicians and physician assistants are licensed by the Oregon Medical Board. Oregon also licenses naturopathic doctors through the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine, and naturopathic practice here covers a broader range of procedures than in many states, so an ND rather than a medical doctor may be the one offering treatment. Nurses who assist are licensed by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Treatment is usually delivered in a physician office, a naturopathic or integrative clinic, or a wellness suite rather than a hospital.

Before booking anywhere in Oregon, confirm the credentials of the person actually administering treatment and check license status and any disciplinary history with the relevant board. Ask exactly what is being administered, how the ozone is generated, and how equipment is sterilized between patients. Request risks and side effects in writing, ask what happens if treatment does not help, and ask for an itemized quote that separates consultation, testing, treatment and follow up.

Listing order on this page is not paid ranking, it is organic and cannot be purchased. Featured placements are labeled and capped, a Verified label means the clinic completed the site's credential checks, and Regenerated.com is free for patients to use. Inclusion in this directory does not endorse any clinic or its claims.

For the mechanism behind ozone therapy and the current state of the evidence, see the national ozone therapy hub. To understand how this list is ordered and labeled, read How to read a Regenerated city hub and Featured vs Verified vs organic.

Regulatory context

A note on Oregon's ozone therapy rules.

The "other" category is a catchall for regenerative wellness modalities with inconsistent federal oversight. Red light therapy devices (photobiomodulation) have narrow FDA 510(k) clearances for acne, muscle pain, and wound healing, not systemic regeneration. Whole-body cryotherapy is NOT FDA-approved for any medical indication and received an FDA safety communication in July 2016 warning of asphyxiation, frostbite, and burn risks. Ozone therapy is NOT FDA-approved for any medical use and the FDA has stated ozone is a toxic gas with no known useful medical application. Condition-specific regenerative offerings (hair restoration with minoxidil or finasteride, ED care beyond PDE5 inhibitors and shockwave) have varying approval depending on route and drug source.

  • Oregon Medical Practice Act (ORS Ch. 677)
Defines practice of medicine and delegation rules for wellness settings.
  • Oregon Naturopathic Physicians Act (ORS Ch. 685)
Licenses naturopathic doctors with broad scope including IV therapy, minor surgery, and some prescribing.

The Oregon Medical Board and Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine investigate unlicensed practice and scope violations. Ozone and chelation clinics making disease-treatment claims risk board action. The Attorney General pursues deceptive health claims under the Oregon Unlawful Trade Practices Act. Enforcement is moderate and generally supportive of licensed integrative practice.

Ozone Therapy in , answered.

Most of the clinics on this page cluster in the Portland metro, with smaller concentrations around Eugene and Bend. A search for ozone therapy near Eugene will mostly surface that same short list of local and statewide practices, so residents there are choosing among a narrow set rather than a deep market. Patients in Salem, Medford, the coast or rural counties typically travel to one of these metros for both the consultation and follow up care.

Ozone therapy is generally cash pay, and Oregon clinics do not publish a standard rate because pricing depends on the delivery method, staffing and any additional procedures bundled in. Ask for a written quote that separates the consultation, testing, the treatment itself and follow up visits. This page does not list an average cost, since combining different services under one number would be misleading.

Who may administer ozone therapy in Oregon depends on the practitioner's license rather than the treatment name itself. Physicians, physician assistants, naturopathic doctors and nurses are each regulated separately, and Oregon's naturopathic doctors have a broader scope of practice than in many states, so an ND may be the one offering treatment. Ask which license the person treating you holds and what it authorizes them to do.

Physicians and physician assistants can be checked through the Oregon Medical Board, naturopathic doctors through the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Medicine, and nurses through the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Each board's lookup shows license status and any public disciplinary action, though none of them will tell you whether a specific treatment suits your diagnosis or how skillfully it was performed.

There is no established profile that qualifies someone for ozone therapy marketed for general wellness. A clinician should review your diagnosis, medical history and current medications before discussing whether it is reasonable to try. People who are pregnant or who have significant blood, heart or lung conditions are usually told to wait or look elsewhere until those concerns are addressed by their treating physician.

This page covers every listed clinic across Oregon, while a city page narrows that list to one metro and a plain web search mixes paid ads, review sites and unrelated results together. Star ratings and reviews found elsewhere are not the same as verified credential checks. Once you have narrowed down a metro, the city pages linked from listings here add neighborhood-level detail.

The order clinics appear in is organic and not something a clinic can purchase. A small number of Featured placements are labeled as such and capped so they cannot crowd out the rest of the list. A Verified label means the clinic completed the site's credential checks, not that it paid for visibility, and browsing the directory itself is free for patients.

Ozone therapy is not FDA approved for the wellness uses many clinics advertise, and evidence for those broader claims is limited. It is a different procedure from hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which uses pressurized oxygen rather than ozone gas and has its own separate evidence base and approved uses. Ask any clinic offering either treatment to explain what it is proposing and why, specifically for your diagnosis.
