I started seeing Dr Patel with the upmost faith in her abilities to help with my breathing problems. She diagnosed me with asthma without an asthma test. For a year , I was coughing & major congestion. Dr Patel said I had “junky lungs” . After much suffering she agreed to do a bronchoscopy without antibiotics. After the procedure, she told me “she stirred it up good” . I said do I need antibiotics, she relied “no” . One hr after returning home, I was extremely sick. I went to the ER & was hospitalized for sepsis. This cost me $2,000 when I could have just had antibiotics before the procedure. Dr Patel keeps billing me for $14.03, what about my $2,000 bill she cost me? I would never recommend this doctor. There are much better pulmonologist in our area.

I love Dr. Patel and her staff! She explains everything in a way you can understand it. I trust her and recommend her to anyone with breathing issues!

I have been coming to Piedmont Pulmonary for a couple of years now. All the staff here are great. I see Dr. Patel and she is wonderful. Dr. Patel listens to what you have to say about your concerns and treatment. I've been on CPAP equipment for over 7 years now and Dr. Patel closely watches the results of my nightly use of the machine. I get replacement supplies promptly to never run out of filters, hoses, and such. I would not entrust any other Doctor with my care than Dr. Patel and her staff. I would recommend Dr. Patel and Piedmont Pulmonary Medical to anyone who has lung issues.
