She is a wonderful doctor who has always taken her time to help me n my daughter. We both see her. I have been seeing her for years now. If it was not for her I would have never found out I had 2 autoimmune diseases she is the one who insisted n helped me get all the tests while MUSC did not. She had them order the tests MUSC neurologist doc I saw was like did not want to be bothered. IMO if u your waiting for test you should call as well they do have a lot of doctors there n depending on which one you are originally set up with at the beginning as so called primary there u should talk to maybe because she is a wonderful doctor who cares n really wants to find what is wrong. Rem not every med works. It took me 5 meds before 1 stopped my tremors that is not the doctors fault they all don’t work on people the same

My husband developed seizures in April 2022, we were referred to Dr. Meyers for neurology. The first 3 times we went, we thought we were seeing a neurologist, Nope! On our 4th. visit this woman walks in, whom we had never seen, and after 5 minutes of chit chat I asked “who are you?” She was Dr. Patricia Meyers! They finally did a 24 hour EEG, and started him on Keppra 500mg., he took that for A month, went back as he was still having seizures, upped the meds to 1000 mg. They decided to do a 72 hour in home EEG, WE WAITED A MONTH for the results! Only to be told, it didn’t show anything, so upped the meds to 1500 mg., with no good results! After seeing this Dr. From April until October, we told her she was fired! She was the most unprofessional Dr. we have ever encountered. Started with a new neurologist the first of October, changed his meds and it seems to be working. We waited 4 weeks for them to transfer his records to the new Dr. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to her! Still have no results from any of the EEG’s! Written on Oct. 28, 2022!
