I had a excellent experience! There was a young girl by the name of shannon she was very attentive to me and my wifes needs , she had a wonderful smile & very pleasant. Shannon even called when she saw an earlier appointment available when she heard we were in need of a sooner date to come in. We need more people like her , thank you pain specialist!

I was referred to Dr. Tavel by my General Practioner for Sciatic nerve pain. After not hearing from the office I called and was told that I was not a candidate and could not get an appointment. The irony of this is that I have seen Dr. Tavel on numerous occasions for Sciatic Nerve pain, have received numerous epidural injection, and at least 2 rhizotomies, the last one being in March 2017. With my good luck of almost 10 years, I thought if he could give me a rhizotomy, I could be pain free for life. Now it was determined I was not a good candidate.????

I was in a car accident and went in for an MRI and went in recently for massage therapy. The massage therapist was the best I've had. I am glad I found her! Honestly, it has been a great experience all around. You never know what you are going to have to deal with, and it has been nice to deal with nice people along the way. Thank you for helping me through this! I appreciate it!

I have had very friendly encounters with Dr. Drakeley and Dr. Travel. The nurse's are also friendly and helpful. I have not encountered a bad visit yet.

I was referred here by SC Sports Medicine and Orthopedics for cervical epidural steroid injection for chronic upper back/neck pain with numbness and tingling in my left fingers. Prior to coming here I never read any of the reviews and for me I think that was good. If I read some of the reviews I probably wouldn’t have come, and that would have been unfortunate for me. My experience has been really great. I was extremely nervous about the prospect of having a needle inserted into my neck. And I expressed my anxiety to the front office staff lady, and she was reassuring and that helped settle me down. The medical staff that took my vitals and started my IV was also professional and supportive. At this point I was completely calm. Then they took me to the procedure room where Dr. Vranian and his team explained everything that would happen and what I might feel/experience. It wasn’t painful for me as I was sedated. Sure you are aware that something is going into your neck/back but honestly a root canal was more painful than the injection (sorry orthodontists). But that was my experience. Post procedure I’m still feeling better than I had. Periodically I may experience slight numbness, but it doesn’t last long. I’m not sure if perhaps they made changes as a result of some of the negative reviews, but I was extremely satisfied with what they provided for me. I also know when you’re in chronic pain ordinary tasks become ten times harder. So I just try to manage my expectations and I appreciate every second of relief I get.
