About this clinic

AIM Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine, located in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, offers acupuncture and functional-medicine consultations as entry points for patients with chronic pain, mobility concerns, and weight-management goals. The clinic integrates traditional acupuncture with contemporary modalities including pulsed electromagnetic-field therapy and physical therapy, sequencing treatments according to individual presentation rather than a fixed protocol. Practitioners conduct functional-medicine workups to identify underlying imbalances in metabolism, inflammation, and structural function. The approach emphasizes supporting the body's own repair mechanisms across musculoskeletal, metabolic, and systemic domains. Pain managemen

I cannot say enough about AIM Acupuncture & Integrative Medicine. They truly gave me my quality of life back. After a sudden, tragic loss of someone I love, my body began to shut down in ways I didn’t understand. The right side of my body was in severe pain. It started in my knee and slowly moved into my hip, shoulder, arm, wrist — even swelling. The pain was real, constant, and exhausting. What I didn’t realize at the time was that intense grief can trigger the body’s fight-or-flight response. My nervous system was stuck in overdrive, flooding my body with stress hormones and creating extreme muscle tension and inflammation. Before finding AIM, I went through X-rays, MRIs, and multiple specialists. Every test came back “normal.” I was repeatedly told nothing was wrong — and at times made to feel like I was seeking pain medication. That was incredibly frustrating and disheartening because I knew my pain was real, and I do not use drugs. AIM often says they are the “last resort” for pain management. I only wish I had gone to them first. It would have saved me months of pain, time, and money. Within a few weeks of treatment, the pain began to subside. My mobility returned. The swelling went down. Today, I have no pain in those areas — and I did it without medication. And for anyone who is nervous: the needles do not hurt at all. If you are struggling with unexplained pain, stress-related symptoms, or grief that is living in your body, please consider AIM. They don’t just treat symptoms — they treat the whole person. I am forever grateful.

I don't typically write reviews but my experience with AIM is so positive that I felt compelled to write this review. After several years of sciatic back and leg pain and receiving little to no relief from other facilities, I was directed to AIM by a close friend. This facility is exceptionally clean with a warm, welcoming, and upbeat atmosphere. From my first visit, I was treated with kindness and respect. The staff was genuinely concerned about my health and wellbeing and made me feel that I was in good hands. Their knowledge of my condition and treatment plan has resulted in my ability to once again participate in activities that I enjoy but had to give up due to the pain I had experienced prior to AIM. I highly recommend AIM.

Great experience due to a professional staff. My left leg went stiff and weak after left hip surgery. I tried about everything from PT to epidural shots- nothing worked. I thought about acpuncture, looked up various places and found AIM. Read all the reviews who’ve were excellent and made my appointment and I have been under treatment for 2.5 months and experience has been excellent. Now unfortunately my leg is not a lot better. The muscle has loosen some but I still have stiffness and weakness. I am 85 years old and in very good health except for my left leg. Tha clinic and environment could not be better . I have been treated well by all the staff- they are very caring professionals with the health for the patients being number one. I f you are in pain the people and surroundings are most important and AIM reflects both. I still have hope that my leg will get better and it is some better in that I can walk a bit stronger and the muscle has loosen some. Believe me it is not because the professionals at AIM have not tried to help. I want to thank all for all you kindness and help.
