THOSE SEEKING WEIGHT LOSS MEDICATION BEWARE ⚠️ In May of 2023 I was under the care of Chyrl Mosley working towards my better health possibilities including weight loss. Chyrl being a Functional Medicine Practioneer was able to provide weight loss medication. As I saw her weight loss success with Semaglutide she prescribed me the same medication and with high hopes I started my first of six injections in her Franklin office on 5/17/23. I was provided two vials of the medication formulated by FARMAKEIO Custom Compounding Pharmacy located in TX. I proceeded to take the remaining 5 injections weekly on Wednesdays and documenting my progress in the patient portal. When I was given the medication in her office on 5/17/23, there were no warning labels, harmful side effects information, formulary information and no precautions in taking the SEMAGLUTIDE. By the 3rd injection I started to feel not quite right and by the 5th injection I felt and looked seriously ill. The number of symptoms I was experiencing were beyond worrisome. I reached out to Chyrl via the patient portal, shared w/ her how I was feeling along with the symptoms I was having. She advised me to seek medical attention immediately with a Dr of GI medicine. I was promptly seen at Vanderbilt Center for GI Diseases , evaluated and studies were orderd. On June 27, 2023, I was diagnosed by a Doctor at Vanderbilt Medical Center for GI with a severe condition called GASTROPERISIS, aka Delayed Gastric Emptying, basically a paralysis of the stomach muscle. that Semaglutide is known to cause. I notified Chyrl immediately and stopped the medication and returned the one unused vile of SEMAGLUTIDE back to her office. I asked the Dr's at Vanderbilt how long does this condition last and I was told a day, a week, a month, a year or a lifetime. I became sicker over the months, sought medical care and additional studies only to be told there is NO CURE for this condition. It has been a living hell! Over the past nearing 3 years, my entire life changed. I lost my Love & Passion for food. Baking & cooking for my husband was a chore, there was no dining out because of how miserable and sick I was. Our happy hours and outings to Broadway ceased, no social events or family outings. My goal was to loose 30lbs. At my 1st injection weigh in I was at 203lbs. Over the span of the 6 weeks , I lost 9 lbs. Other patients according to Chryl and staff were having great results and no side effects and I was reminded that "other patients weren't having any problems" except for occasional nausea. I requested to be reimbursed for the medication which was obliged but never did Chyrl offer to refund me in full for the near $3000 I spent or considerations for the harm she caused. Never has Chryl taken any accountability for her negligent actions. The sicker I became I started researching this SEMAGLUTIDE weight loss medication only to learn by the pharmacy pouch the vile came in was actually compounded with Acetate ( aka as salt) that carries dangerous side effects, according to the FDA, one being GASTROPERISIS. What was most upsetting is I would learn that the medication Chyrl prescribed was NOT FDA APPROVED!! Chryl Mosley knew this and prescribed the medication anyway not disclosing that information to me. It's been a very long 33 months of suffering. At any given time I experience 1 or many of the 32 side effects that now plague my daily life. I have missed out on so much LIFE that I can't get back. Seems as though I got the Lifelong diagnosis of GASTROPERISIS at the hands of Chryl Mosley Nurse Practioneer and owner of Fork Functional Medicine in Franklin, TN and she has made it abundantly clear that she doesn't give a damn!
