I was more than a little surprised that after Dr. Thoreson recommended the Aquablation procedure he told me he had no idea whether or not it was covered by Medicare. At the end of the appointment his assistant handed me a piece of paper with what she referred to as a CPT code (pictured) and told me that I should call my insurance and ask if they covered that procedure. I asked her how likely that the procedure was going to be approved with absolutely no documentation of my condition and her response was, “If you have supplemental insurance you should probably call them.” One would think that if the aquablation procedure was being completed with any frequency the doctor and/or his office staff would have knowledge of Medicare/insurance coverage.

This was our first visit to see Dr. Thoreson and we were pleased with our visit. He was very knowledgeable, he asked were we ok with an exam and adding a new medication. He explained everything and made sure that we understood his recommendations for my husband’s health. The office was very welcoming and the staff was very friendly!!! He seems to care for his patients. I would highly recommend this office 10 out of 10!!!

I have truly enjoyed having Dr Gregory R Thoreson as my doctor. He is very professional takes his time with you, answers any questions that I may have and explains thing thoroughly . He and his team did an amazing job on catching my cancer at an early stage and the procedure to remove the cancer was a total success. I highly recommend him.
