Dear Dr. Mendoza, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the way you have touched and transformed my life. Almost three years ago, I was going through one of the darkest times in my life. I was experiencing menopause, my daughter had attempted suicide, and my marriage was on the verge of ending. I felt broken, hopeless, and completely lost. By the grace of God, I found you. That day was the turning point in my life. When I walked into your office, I fell I was the only patient there, and from the very first moment, I felt safe. You understood me in a way no one else did. When you looked at me, I could see in your eyes that you truly felt my pain, as if you were walking through it with me. Almost three years ago, I attempted to take my own life. But God placed you in my path, and through your care, compassion, and guidance, my life completely changed. Today, my marriage is nearly perfect, my daughter is doing so much better, and I am healthy . I call you my little angel, because that is exactly what you have been in my life. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mendoza’s for about 4 years now, and since then my quality of life and health has dramatically improved. I visited her for pre-menopausal "bleeding" issues and seeking weight loss help. She saw my raw arms and hands from eczema and prioritized helping me heal from that first. She dealt with one crisis at a time. A year later I've lost the weight! I don't even have scars or visible marks of the nasty arms I walked into her office with.
