Terrible customer service. I called to make an appointment with Dr. Blevins, and they stated a needed a referral from my doctor (completely understandable), my doctor faxed/emailed over the referral. Then they call a week later stating they need my records before making an appointment. They work hard at not trying to schedule an appointment with and the front office staff is very rude. Save yourself the TIME and see someone else.
@American Pain and Wellness - DO BETTER. Invest in training your front office staff.

I was referred to this place. I cannot get into my VA (long story)and spend thousands of dollars in treatment. Went to see Dr. Reemer and it was a joke. My back is 9/10-10 on their pain scale almost everyday. It causes sciatic pain all the way down to my feet 24/7. His answer to my pain was a urinalysis and injection..... The injection did not reduce pain, instead it created more pain. I cannot believe nor do I understand how these practitioners blindly practice medicine. Absolutely sickening and depressing.

Dr Remer is good, but the girl at the front desk (Shirley) is the rudest person I have ever met!! Another doctor's office called there about getting my records (which took 2 weeks) and they said she was extremely rude to them as well. How sad. She is sadistic, seems to be taking pleasure in her cruelty.

Incredible Doctor and staff. I can't stress this enough. I've been under Dr Steven Remer's care for 6 years now after undergoing 10 surgeries in the past 10 years including bilateral knee replacements. He was the only reason I was finally pointed to the correct specialists and diagnosed properly with Rheumatoid Arthritis to begin my path of healing and receiving the right biologics and treatments. This office is very sympathetic to chronic pain sufferers and holistically treats their patients in managing their pain with an internal physical therapy staff including a massage therapist and chiropractor in addition to prescription and treatment plans if needed. Dr Remer is highly skilled in various noninvasive injections (not just "steroid shots" but procedures such as Rhizotomies and ESI's), and this has been a key component in managing my pain over the years. He's super friendly and always carries a smile for you to brighten even your worst days. If you choose American Pain and Wellness, it'll be the best thing you ever do. Your quality of life will thank you.

This was one of my worst experiences. I went in as a referral. I was very disappointed with the way they treat their customers. I went in for back pain management and they came up with one solution - pain injections. I'm sorry if I'm the only one who is absolutely not comfortable with injections. As a doctor he is supposed to offer options that I am comfortable with. I know there are more ways such as oral pain medication. Upon asking for an alternative to injections he said """""this is the only option we have. Your pain must not be as bad since your rejecting injections.""""" I'm sorry? How does the doctor decide how bad my pain is? I'm so disappointed. Filled out almost 25 pages of the application, waited an hour, and got this kind of attitude. I'm sorry but doctors are supposed to be comforting not forcing.
