I had a wonderful experience during my recent doctor visit with Dr. Spurlock. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I left feeling confident in the treatment plan we discussed. I would highly recommend Dr. Spurlock to anyone in need of medical care. 5 stars!

I'm totally devastated that I am not able to see Dr Spurlock anymore (due to extenuating circumstances -Insurance issues) I truly believe he's an excellent physician that has a menagerie of tools in his toolbox. He puts an immense amount of time & energy into finding the root causes & does comprehensive blood work panels you can't find anywhere else that I'm aware of! He cares about his patients deeply & spends a GREAT DEAL OF TIME WITH THEM. ( Try finding that anywhere else!? It's EXTREMELY RARE) He was a master of staying up to date on new research just being released & passing it on to his patients. This AMAZING DR. is also very nuanced!! 💯 He's the only Dr. I've ever been to that would discuss nutrition/diet w/me, & believe me I've been seriously ill almost all my life off & on 😥& spent time in MANY DOCTORS OFFICES than I care to remember! Spurlock gave me HOPE & EDUCATED ME ON MY BODY'S OPTIMAL FUNCTIONAL RANGES. I've seen physicians on a regular basis starting at 8 yrs old w/major health problems* Not 1 of the hundreds of physicians I saw on a regular basis for very SERIOUS ILLNESSES NOT ONCE had 1 conversation w/me about nutrition & massive blood work panels & also never had open dialogue about MY RESPONSIBILITY TO TRY TO MAKE CHANGES TO IMPROVE MY CURRENT LIFESTYLE & WELL-BEING! They all just pulled out the prescription pad to write for Big Pharma Meds PERIOD!* With the desire to have my symptoms diminish enough so that I wouldn't come back w/the exact same symptoms only that they had gotten worse. Then the protocol was to increase my doses. Spurlock is the best Dr. I have ever sought help from. Please do yourself a favor if you're having medical issues & make an appointment w/him, b/c you will never regret it~ "Be Not Afraid" Spurlock is the BEST 🌟✨ I WAS BLESSED TO HAVE HIM AS MY PHYSICIAN FOR ALL THE YEARS I DID✝️ It's made a remarkable change in my life & I'm 60 now. I was a patient of Dr. Spurlock as a teenager, and looking back, I feel deeply disturbed by the treatment I received under his care. He placed me on Pregnyl (hCG) long-term because my testosterone was “too high”—despite my age and the fact that my body was still developing. It was never explained to me what the long-term effects might be, and I now have serious concerns about the impact it had on my hormonal health and fertility. Over time, he diagnosed me with everything from thyroid issues to fibromyalgia, PCOS, and more, seemingly without clear evidence or further investigation. It often felt like he was trying to fit me into a list of conditions rather than actually listening to what I was experiencing. Dr. Spurlock had a habit of prescribing multiple medications and hormones rapidly, without proper discussion of risks or interaction with existing mental health conditions. One of the most dangerous moments for me personally was when he prescribed a weight loss drug I never asked for—a stimulant—despite my known bipolar disorder. My psychiatrist was alarmed and immediately told me to stop the medication because it could have triggered a manic episode. That was the last straw for me. Appointments were also incredibly difficult to manage. He was routinely hours late—not an exaggeration—and when he did arrive, the visits often started with small talk about the latest movie he’d seen rather than focusing on my care. Every year, he’d draw 12+ vials of blood, only to go through the results by saying “this is too high, take this” or “this is too low, you need this”—with no real explanation of the bigger picture or whether the treatments were actually helping. In hindsight, I feel that his approach was reckless, overly aggressive, and dismissive of both mental health and long-term consequences. I trusted him with my care during a critical period of my development, and I now carry both physical and emotional scars from that time. I hope this review helps others feel less alone if they’ve had similar experiences—and encourages anyone seeking care to ask questions, seek second opinions, and prioritize providers who practice patient-centered, evidence-based medicine.
