NAD IV Therapy clinics in Texas

In Texas, NAD IV therapy and NAD injections from a medical provider are offered in physician practices, IV and infusion suites, and med spas that work under a medical director. Most of that supply sits in four metros: Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio. El Paso, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, Lubbock and Amarillo have smaller pools, while much of West Texas, the Panhandle and East Texas has few listings or none, so people there should plan for a long drive. Check each treatment address, and ask whether the clinic offers an intravenous infusion, an injection, or both, since many offer only one.

Deciding that NAD is appropriate for you is a medical decision, so a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner should evaluate you and order it, and a registered nurse or other trained staff member usually places the IV under that order. Ask who examines you before the first visit, who signed the order and who is on site if you react. The regulation summary on this page sets out current Texas requirements from sourced data. Check physicians and physician assistants through the Texas Medical Board lookup, and nurses and nurse practitioners through the Texas Board of Nursing. A check shows license status and public disciplinary actions, but it cannot tell you whether NAD will help or where a clinic sources its product.

Before booking anywhere in the state, ask exactly what is in the bag or syringe, the dose, which pharmacy supplies it, how risks are disclosed in writing and what happens if you notice no benefit. Ask for a quote that itemizes assessment, medication, administration and follow-up. NAD infusions are usually cash pay, compounded NAD is not FDA approved for energy, recovery or healthy-aging uses, and the evidence behind those claims is still limited. The national NAD IV therapy hub covers the mechanism and the research in more depth.

Regenerated.com is free for patients, and being listed is not an endorsement. The organic order of this list is not sold. Featured slots are clearly labeled and capped, and Verified means the clinic passed credential checks, not that it paid. Regulatory context

A note on Texas's nad iv therapy rules.

FDA regulates the compounded ingredients used in IV therapy and the facilities that prepare them. Patient-specific compounded IVs fall under FDCA Section 503A, while bulk preparations for office use fall under Section 503B (outsourcing facilities). USP Chapter 797 governs sterile compounding standards. FDA has issued warnings about injectable glutathione marketed for skin lightening (2017) and has not approved NAD IV for any specific indication. Vitamin and mineral IV mixtures such as the Myers cocktail are compounded preparations and are not FDA-approved drug products.

  • Texas Nursing Practice Act (Tex. Occ. Code Ch. 301)
Defines RN scope including IV insertion and administration under a valid order from a physician or APRN.
  • Texas Medical Board delegation rules (Tex. Occ. Code Ch. 157)
Governs physician delegation of IV therapy through standing orders and medical director arrangements.

The Texas medical and nursing boards have addressed unlicensed practice in medical spa and IV lounge settings. Common enforcement themes include IV therapy administered without a valid physician order, stale or missing standing orders, absence of a designated medical director, and unlicensed personnel performing venipuncture. Boards have reiterated that a prescribing physician or APRN must establish a bona fide patient relationship before any IV protocol is initiated, and that standing orders must be specific, dated, and periodically reviewed. The Texas Medical Board has disciplined physicians serving as medical directors for IV lounges without establishing bona fide patient relationships, and Texas strictly enforces the corporate practice of medicine doctrine.

NAD IV Therapy in , answered.

Most Texas listings are in Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and San Antonio, with smaller groups in El Paso, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, Lubbock and Amarillo. Rural West Texas, the Panhandle and East Texas have little local supply. Some people also look at clinics in Mexico; this directory lists United States providers only, and Texas boards cannot review care given across the border, so weigh that before traveling.

Prices vary with the dose, how long the infusion runs, added ingredients, the level of medical monitoring and whether visits are sold as a package. NAD IV therapy is generally cash pay, so ask your insurer before assuming any coverage. A written quote should itemize evaluation, medication, administration and follow-up. This page does not publish a Texas average because differently built infusions do not compare like for like.

Ordering an infusion is part of medical practice, so the person who evaluates you should be a licensed physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner, and the person placing the IV is usually a registered nurse working under that order. The rules that apply are summarized in the regulation block on this page. If the arrangement at a clinic is unclear, ask who is responsible for your care and confirm each name with the relevant Texas board.

Use the Texas Medical Board lookup for physicians and physician assistants, and the Texas Board of Nursing for registered nurses and nurse practitioners. You will see whether a license is active and whether any public disciplinary action exists. A clean record confirms credentials only. It does not show how a clinic sources its NAD, how it handles reactions, or whether the treatment is likely to help you.

Commonly reported effects include flushing, nausea, chest tightness, cramping and headache, often linked to running the infusion too fast, plus the usual IV risks of bruising or infection at the site. People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have significant heart, kidney or liver disease, or are in cancer treatment are usually told to talk with their own doctor first. A careful Texas clinic screens your history before the first infusion.

NAD is a coenzyme involved in cellular energy, and clinics promote infusions for fatigue, focus, recovery and healthy aging. Human research on intravenous NAD is still small and early, and it does not yet show reliable benefit for those uses. Before and after stories and online reviews describe individual experiences, not evidence. Ask any Texas provider what outcome they expect, how they will measure it and when you should stop.

There is no established schedule backed by solid evidence, so frequency is a clinical judgment rather than a standard. Clinics often propose a starting series followed by occasional maintenance visits, which is a business model as much as a medical plan. Ask the ordering clinician why they suggest a given interval, what would make them stop, and whether the quote lets you pay visit by visit instead of committing upfront.

This page helps you choose where in Texas to look, while each city page shows local detail and the national hub explains the treatment and its evidence. Unlike a general web search, the organic order here is not sold, Featured placements are labeled and capped, and Verified means credential checks rather than spending. Regenerated.com is free for patients, and a listing is not an endorsement of any clinic.
